No comment when transfer request is rejected?

Having played manager mode for a while now I noticed that in some cases when I try to buy a player and my bid is rejected there'll be a comment like my club is not prestigious enough for the player etc.
But in some cases I don't get any comment at all. Is this normal or is this a bug?

Also I noticed that in such cases (when there is no comment at all) I can offer ridiculous sums of money and my bids will still be rejected. I find this rather strange.

I also have that problem, but a strange thing happened in my case. I had almost 5 of those blank comments but when i offered improved contracts, I was able to buy one goalie.
Well strange things are happening in Fifa 11.

I saw the same thing on my game. The only two things i could think of were:

- The player does not want to join your club and therefore won't negotiate.
- The board does not want you to buy anymore players.

Funny thing is, in the next season the players are happy to join your team

Its probably just manager experience or something, i've had the same thing trying to buy Keisuke Honda and i offered 15 Mil, and he was 80% interested and its always rejected. I also noticed a half a star at the top of th club management screen, i guess maybe you need more managerial experience before good players join :s

No, this does not seem to be the case. I was at 4 stars and still had the same problem. Very annoying...

4 stars manager rep, playing a 2-star team but I've qualified to the club european cup and botafogo ain't no awesomeness either. Also the player's interest level was at 81% and couldn't go any higher.

This is just totally random it seems.

depends on which club u playing and the all the games results u r geting thru the season i guess, was that happened when you guys managing a 4.5 or 5 stars club? never encounter these strange things tho

I've bought Ji Dong Won (I think he had Ovr 77 back then) with no problems for less than 1kk eur during my first season in the same team (second season overall), now I've qualified to the CWC with 4 games lost in the league (2nd place, all lost by simulation) as a league cup winner. Well, maybe it's better that it doesn't only depend on the cash, makes it annoying but atleast A LITTLE MORE challenging if you don't just take a 5-star team and grind it on amateur.

the interested level increase and my negotiation accepted
I think you all should just keep negotiating the player

ul never be able to buy a player if u shortlist him.mk sure that the player is not shortlisted.if ur bid is rejected without an answer, try again next week with an improved offer both for the club and the player and ul manage to sign him.
