No ads?

Is there anyway to get no ads on this Forum? I don’t mind paying to get rid of them.

A lot of Forums are doing it and generally it’s a quite popular. A Forum with this amount of members, I’m sure there would be no trouble doing it. Just a thought.

No. Maybe you should read my post again. I’m asking if I donate money, will I be able to get rid of the ads?

The Forum would not lose money, it would make money. What they could do is have an option when you donate a certain amount for a 6 or 12 month subscription, and it gets rid of the ads for only those who donate. This Forum in particular would make a lot of money from it.

That’s really surprising considering the amount of members you have here. Shame really

We attract younger members usually. Us older guys generally grew up here, but came when we were minors, so I'm not so sure if there would be many people donating. I was probably against it at the time, but I don't think it's such a bad idea. I doubt the ads provide much revenue for the forum for any individual member, so the $20 or whatever would boost the profitability of the site.

But yes I do HATE these ******* ads. Every time I see another "Foxy Fan" I feel like gauging my eyes out with a salad spoon.

I wasn't very clear in my response. I would be for donations on a voluntary basis, not for a mandatory $20 contribution.
