i played on legendary mode in 4-minute-match. the cpu defenders really stay/ hold at the back but can be easily break. the cpu gives less challenges. overall it is not that hard but i am just having problems with the shooting



hope cpu can do more building on their attacking. do play more through passes, wing play and some times cpu should try a long range shot too etc thanks for this update. at least it's better than ea's :mexican:

Even i face same shooting problems as you but i dont complain cause if i complain people will start doubting my statements and will say that i was telling lies all this time,So i just shut up and take it as a challenge

I've fixed the shooting now.

There's enough people wanting it different, so now it is.

The shot mechanic isn't as scripted into wide shots to keep the game score low, but I have put more pressure on defence to stay back and get aggressive when they have to. This will help aid the player to create better chances.

But shooting is far more accurate now. So you'll have that sorted soon enough.

There's a reason why I do this alone and it's cause I have my own ways of making the update.

OK... after playing two games, something I've noticed. I feel as though there are times that the defence "parks the bus" in front of the goal. I just finished playing Liverpool and I couldn't get a single cross through against 10 men (Carragher got sent off for a professional foul against Drogba, took him down as the last defender, ). All of them were cleared and there is little movement from my team attacking.

I tried to install it but I did not have good result. I could not find the "FIFA 07 DIRECTORY" where somebody installed it.
Please, help out, I really would like to play this WK5 gaming.

There are no variables to edit key midfield play. I have to do so using other values to affect the build up and pace of the game.

I have already decreased the chances on goal per game, good chances anyway 1v1's are harder to come by.

I'm not going to put in variables from past FIFA games that the game doesn't even read, Snoppf1!

As said, the shooting is now more accurate. In some cases players' will be too good for the 07 engine and will be best off playing next-gen FIFA 08.

MJ FOOTBALL is returning in 08 so they'll be two of us on the game daily. He tests the game here back home.

My apologies to anyone having problems with the shot mechanic. ASAP, this will be fixed and released in the tweak.

Buddy i am waiting for the updated version.This patch is good as i have been able to score max 6 goals in a single match till now.But i still i feel the GK are not balanced as my Keeper always deflects the ball into the goal or deflects easy saves back to the opponent allowing him to score.

N can you do anything about my request i PM you?

The WE5 tweak will be ready soon.

I will PM you shortly over your request, although I can tell you now the WE5 tweak shot mechanic is pretty much the same as EA original, just a bit tougher. So this will train you just fine. Also, the EA original won't work well with my updated ball physics. It'll play odd. I've tried it.

The shooting is how people wanted it I believe. And the game is tighter then ever before. But realistically and believably you can break defences. And it feels like it works better then ever, as the pace of the game is slower.

ok some news on the tweak;

shooting is now fixed. Shots can still go all over the place, but close range shots with good players' will trouble defences and goalkeepers much more often. No more 'unrealistically wide' misses. Gone, gone, GONE!

It's harder to defend against a quick cpu attack and HARDER to attack against a good defence. The result is you clearing the ball more often and trying to get back-up for your keeper.

Ball physics slower, game pace slowed down. More tactical feel.

AI players' move quicker into space with more aggression, resulting in the cpu passing faster and trying more ways of playing the ball about. increased 1-2's passe,s first touch, etc.

game Lag is being looked into.

I had experienced the lag issue, but I replaced the ini_pc.big file and the cfc_pc_h.ini file. It seems to have fixed the problem.

I'll add the WE5 tweak with the option to install the detail update rather than have it forced to install.

Good news on the tweak front, I keep getting beat! Can't seem to win a match. But realistically, the cpu just keeps doing me over.

Will be fun to see who can actually, fully beat it. Not just scrape through a win, but say an SSJ 5-1 win. I bet it would be difficult to beat a top team now with the tweak.

Ball physics have really slowed the game down to a simulation level. Also, defenders stay back, but don't just stand there anymore. After a second or two they close you down.

Send the file to your anti-virus vendor and tell them that you believe it is a false positive. Unless they know about them then they can't fix their code.
