there are many ,many other teams in Fifa....

WE2008 should be out later this evening UK-GMT time.
A lot of testing went on last night, my friend Mike came over and we had two large created tournaments, we got knocked out of our created "Kings Cup", the second tourny was gutting, semi-final lost 3-2 as England v Uruguay. Mike missed an open goal and I missed a 1v1 when it just missed close.
The evening was pure fun, but also an extensive beta test and tuning session. We agreed we have got it to the point where only small tweaks can be made.
It will all come down to self preference. But this is probably the most challenging and realistic I can get it.

**UPDATE**
World Evolution 2008 has been delayed.
I'm very sorry for holding it back, there are still tweaks and tuning to be made within the AI and CPU itself to bring out the best possible play. I do believe once complete, anyone who has updated kits, rosters, faces and WE2008 will have no need for FIFA 08, as it is more of an updated FIFA 07 in the first place. I personally am very disappointed with FIFA 08 current-gen, as it plays more like a FIFA 07.1.

The latest beta offered an increased realism throughout, and this helped contain the challenge. What has been done is extensive work on this area to eliminate any errors within the play. Hard-core coded bugs cannot obviously be fixed, but many issues within the gameplay have now gone. e.g. the lag bug and goalkeeper clearance kicks.
The defence stay back and want the ball, they will send players' further up the field to get the ball and attack, giving more of a midfield battle.
Shot mechanic remain the same, but with more chance of error under pressure. This creates a sense of closure on defending allowing tactical gamers to man-mark and make the very best in the sport, miss. Open chances are of course clinically dealt with by the very best teams. So be careful as they will take advantage of open spaces, like in real life.
I'm very happy to bring you this news, I'm looking forward to releasing WE2008 to you all very soon

i tried the beta version.it was first time that i tried some gameplay patch and my views on it is that it is good but it should be improved in some fields.
i think improvements have all been suggested earlier.so,here is the result of my match played-
Roma vs inter milan(20 mins game,legendary level)
with NK patch i won 4-1
with ea gameplay mostly draw.
actually the long range shots go wide.so, i was lucky to conceed only 1 goal.
scoring was easily because CPU players marking was poor.
looking forward for the new version.

it has been for a while that i am not using your gameplay update for fifa07 (the last that i am using is WE5 which came with so much disappointments). yes fifa08 demo doesn't have many different from fifa07 but then i heard someone told that it is an old version so maybe the final version of fifa08 will be better(?) i am hoping so! 
but if it's also like that demo.. and your gameplay update is better (may be far better).. so i think i am going to save some money this year. but the fifa08 demo gameplay is really the best among the series.. and i feel it's better than pes6 so let's see can you create the better?

I totally disagree of people saying that Fifa 08 plays the same as Fifa 07.
For God's sake it does'nt.
Its a total improvement over Fifa 07...All the key areas and problems in 07 have been improved and rectified in 08.I cant believe you people saying that,Having played Fifa 07 so much.

Yes, I want to see that as well. I do not even touch the CPU and the player falls down and a free kick is awarded to them. Sometimes that happens right outside the area and it is REALLY FRUSTRATING, especially when playing against good teams, who always score from the freekicks then.dule982k;2401571 said:
