NFS always had this catch up thingy that basicaly makes all the cars that are behind the 1st car go as fast as they need to to keep up with him.

i was thinking about asking for theis game as a Christmas gift. ive played quite a few other Need for Speed games but never a tuner car game. is this a good game to get?

aye... it pisses me off... hate it....i just find myself losing my lead that ive held for 3 1/2 laps to some **** who i cant even catch with my nos :kader:



NFSU2 - catchup + NFSU1 drag - some of the little bugs that give me the ****s sometimes = 10/10 game IMO :confused:

Not sure, but I think you can turn that off. Maybe I'm mixing things up with the NBA Live catch up thing...
Next time I play the game I'll check it for you.

The catch up thing can be turned off in Quick Race, not in Undergoung Mode though..

I am talking about NFS:U1, I thought its might be similiar.

got this game for PC a few weeks ago, great game

started out with the Nissan 240Z or whatever the hell its called... souped it up as far as possible, 3.44 visual rating... then bought an Audi A3, souped it up to the max, stil 0 visual rating

and just traded my Tiburon for a Supra, yet to touch it yet though, need more cash :p

I put all the **** into my Celica... The Escalade is ugly as ****, I dunno what I was thinking :(. Celica kills the TT so I just installed level 1 visual upgrades so that it doesnt look stock.
