i thought newcastle would go thru, esp. with the second leg at st. james park. but i guess they paid the penalty, hehe. excellent job by partizan, and whoever draws partizan's group surely will have to work for their result when they visit belgrade.

dont think bobby should be sacked, he has worked wonders for newcastle, i guess they just didnt perform on the night. With Dyer Jenas and Shearer they should have killed that team off.

OH well, look on the bright side at least rangers and celtic are there:)

Losing on penalties at home tsk tsk... not the Champions League campaign they were hoping for, I feel for ya toon town.

AND Brugge over Dortmond on penalties too... could be a very interesting CL this year. :hump:

Our lack of coverage so far and general mediatic neglect has been well justified by tonight's result.

On the brighter side we wont get fuc*ed by any Italian teams this time round.

Anyway ... this was our final chance in a while to play CL footy ... cos the way things are going we wont be in the top 4 this year.
So unless we do well in the cup ... we've already gone a step backward B4 the season's even really started.

to sum up .. many congrats to Partizan
