well anyway the NUFC website has already received many many emails concerning Bowyer's potential arrival .... and basically it's the same reaction as most of West Ham fans had.

Lee Bowyer is everything that Newcastle shouldnt stand for. He's a thug, he's racist. Woodgate has been great since he's arrived, he's shown remorce for what he has done and he is a good player. But putting Woodgate n Bowyer back together is just asking for trouble. But, i have gotta stick by Bobby, he knows better than me. And, maybe Robson could keep him on the straight and narrow. Just a year or so after he shouted '****S! ****S! ****S!' at our fans he wants to make his way back to the orth east. Just a warning Lee, they will be more than just a few people hoping you dont sign.

yeah thats what I was thinking of last night. Because it looks like an almost done deal. only a medical to pass or something.
So ultimatly Newcastle could do without him and the image he carries.... But if Robson decides to sign him then Im sure he knows what hes doing ... as he hasnt made a bad signing yet since hes been our gaffer.

I read that a few teams are offering him European football to try and lure him in. But his 6 game European ban could turn them away as he wont make an impact for a while.
