well im a former die hard fifa fan. i bought WE8 back when it came out, and only played it like once or so and thought it was too difficult. 
so anyway, i still played fifa for a while, and then recently i finished a season on fifa...and realized that every goal seemed the same. nothing was different!
after the world cup, i thought i would try WE again just to see if i had misjudged it. and of course, i had! i love the game now. every goal is a great experience and totally different than the one before it. i dont think ive ever scored the "same goal" like in fifa.
anyway, getting to the point of my post. after playing with arsenal and man. u. and other good teams, and finally getting decent at the game, i thought i would try a season from the ground up. i created my own team, and off i went. i started off drawing 2 games and losing 1. i thought "oh great, this sucks if i cant win". then i started winning a few, drawing, losing, etc. with my first season, i ended up in the cup final but losing to Everton in PK's. my record was 5-5-6 (i think thats right). not great, but man do my players suck. i tried getting some decent guys during the negociations but only managed to get a halfway decent defender. my other ones fell through! discouraged, i pressed on and ended fairing okay i guess. ive got a lot more income now to spend on some players, so i plan on doing that my second season. i still dont finish the best when i get my oppurtunities, but i guess that will come.
