This is a Dutch wallpaper I recently made. The original resolution was set for 1280x1024, since that is my desktop size. I just shrunk it down in half here to post it.

Well I quite like it. I think it would look a bit better if orange was the main colour of the wallpaper instead of the blue, I just think that the blue doesn't work well with the way that you have used that burned in orange overlay on the players. I'd love it if the background had that saturated orange too but then maybe add a few more pictures faded into the background.

Here's an example of what would look good behind the players. I couldn't find a bigger picture sorry, but anyway this is the cover of a book I read last year for school and I really like that dirty/grungy look with the saturated orange, yellow and brown. :)
