realmadridcf for the love of god keep me off the subject of 32bit vs 3287423890473987 GK.

I have one simple point. If 2GK were better for everyone, EA would make that the default format, but they don't 128*128 is.

I bet JJ, myself and V9 can get better quality kits from 32bit then 99% of people with 2GK.

It takes still and patience but we can create kits that are perfect.

I agree it would be the ultimate if I made kits in 256x256, but I just don't bother with #GK as I prefer to keep to one format.

hmmm. im not disagreeing that u and jj make really goood kits, but with the EA thing, are u saying that EA get every thing right?
Basically they dont, and theyve been known to get heaps of things wrong, and make lots of little mistakes in there games. For EA quaity kits, and with such a large kit making community 128*128 is all u need.
Also ur kits are nice, but i think if u guys made #gk kits theyd be even better. The extra res. allows for just a little higher detail, and would let u do slightly more with ur kits.
However i know u guys are commited to making 32bit kits, and u do a great job at it..

yeah, jj is a great kit maker and has conrtibuted heaps to the community thru his kits. I think the only "better" kit maker was V-9, but as we know, he is a little pre-occupied, and also lost some interest in FIFA. The only problem i see with JJ, is that hes so limited to one format. See if u convert #GK, to 32bit properly (ie. convert to 32bit colour before resizing), u lose no quality. However converting from 32bit to #GK leaves a not so good looking kit. But thats jj's choice and i dont want to sound like im pushing him one way. Im just saying if u convert say stevene11's kits to 32bit theyd look just as good as jj's, but jj has probably invented more of them...
hmmm i dont want to stat an argument or anything, but i really think that if jj (and schmiecel for that matter) would make their kits in #GK (its very easy to then convert to 32bit), just for the #GK use's then it would be great. As ive said before, with the extra res. u can fit in just a bit of extra detail, i don think u miss the extra colour as much.

i think that he should stick with the 32bit origanal size kits cos they are compatable with all formats

jj, are u going to complete the rest of europe section with the porto home kit, olimiakos kits, ect

What JJ, Rob, Vinh and most kitmakers out there are doing is to stick to the majority. Everyone must realise that there might be millions of people out there who play FIFA. Well, with only about a few thousands going to websites and download kits, patches, etc.

And of these few thousands, only a few hundreds (to maybe a few thousands?) would download new stuffs such as 2GK, 3GK, 4GK... etc, and i'm not even sure people download stuffs like Fed, NEOGF techniques, FIFAfx.....etc

Don't get me wrong, #GKs, FIFAfx, FED, NEOG etc are all very good and innovative stuffs, but what i'm trying to say is that majority of the FIFA fans out there do not know what these thingies are. And so it wouldn't mind to them what these new technologies, inventions can do. Most people don't even know FIFAfx enables unlimited stadiums, crowds.....etc.

And hence what i want to emphasize is that Soccered provides quality downloads that are compatible for one and all with simple ease. There is no need to install new things... even my 2S technology was a hit, with over 22, 000 downloads. And i'm sure these people who downloaded them know how to use them with ease and JJ makes super 32-bit 2S kits. That's the point. It is good to innovate, but think of the majority. :D

But the majority plays FIFA 2002 as it is on the original CD and doesn't check any website for new stuff. Should we stop creating patches because the majority of FIFA players doesn't use any patches? ;)

yeah, i agree with some parts. But i think i) #GK is more well known, and widely used then u think. ii) #GK should look better, if its done right. iii)#GK is more well known then FIFA FX imho, so I would have to say ur FIFA FX point isnt very valid.

Also i like lucas_svoboda's analogy.
Just because it is easier for the majority, doesnt mean its better.

Scouser09 - yeah I've done Porto and Olympiakos. I'm going to upload a new kits update on Soccered later (hopefully).

:D yes it's Lukáš but on most foreign computers the special Czech chars are not displayed correctly :D :D
