Because they don't have the marketing power that those two, or even Puma have. Nike and Adidas have "street cred" going back decades as well.

It's a leaked picture of Bayern Munich's 10/11 season kit design by adidas. Not comfirmed. (From left, Home - Away - Third.)

Oh, TSV 1860?

What actually are Bayern's traditional colours? I've seen red, red and blue stripes, navy with red stripe, red and white hoops and now red and white stripes!

Do Bayern have a "traditional" kit layout?

The traditional colours are red&white. Blue&white are the colours of the state Bayern (Freistaat Bayern).

They don't have a traditional kit layout like Argentina, Monaco, Stuttgart or River Plate. At the most they have e red kit or red&white stripes. A few years ago they had a red&blue stripes home kit.

they don't ... and not many German teams do ... some do have a standard colour set though, but I can't think of any that have a set traditional design that cannot be changed ...

Stuttgart are pretty much the only ones in the Bundesliga, you could maybe count Schalke too since they only ever had blue shirts with a different amount of white trim though.
