im so sorry for the anatolian clubs really .. and after all , we ask ourselves whats wrong with them !! its a big problem in MIND !! lack of vision , marketing and in this '' modern PACKAGE AGE " they dont really care about PRESENTATION !!
the wrong policy about transfers , youth system and lack of vision makes these clubs FAIL economically !! and the "kit subject" that i curse is the VISIBLE version of this b'll**** !!

Well, about Eskişehirspor ... Es-Es used to be a very successful team from early 70s to mid 80s..then we relegated and couldnt come back for 12 years .. but after all Es-Es is back with the famous "Es-Es fans" who rent buses to go away matches even Es-Es were in the third league !! i hope Es-Es fans support the team more , buy original products and kits .. but its a general problem of "Turkish Football Fan"..i just dont understand why giving some more money for licenced kits and products is this HARD when cursing the team when they're not succesfull is EASY !?! they should support the team in an economical way too..i'll buy one or two of the new "low-quality" puma kits and training equipment of Eskişehirspor even i dont like them...thats it man , im 19 and im just a student but i'll buy them!!
But i'd really prefer not to have puma,nike or adidas as inattentive sponsors...maybe 'Lescon' ( a turkish sportive equipments brand ) could make special kits for Eskişehirspor..

I think the Eskisehir kit is nice. I didn't see this Puma template with horizontal stripes till now. It's not Puma's mistake, that Eskisehir doesn't have a classic shirt like Bordeaux, River Plate, Boca Juniors, Juventus, etc.

As already mentioned the anatolian clubs don't care about their kits. I guess it'll take a few more years before they understand the importance of marketing and presentation. EsEs is an iconic and legendary club, they could really use this potential.

In Turkey it takes time. I remember, that 10-15 years ago most anatolian clubs didn't have a supplier, that means, that they did not get money for wearing adidas, Puma, lotto, etc. There were teams with Puma shirts and adidas shorts, or lotto shirts and diadora shorts.

the home is very similar to the home kit you had in 06-07

true, the new one does have some differences however. it has 5 stripes across the front (just like the club's logo) and it also has these cool line details on the side that the 06-07 kit lacked.

well man , its not a crime but as everybody knows, its Barcelona's era and most of football fans watch Barcelona's games not Basel's or Steaua's ..
so , Barça is in the foreground .. whenever " I " see Steaua or Basel - that i see rarely- , it reminds me of Barça .. now its their very own problem , if they're good with that , than ; OKAY !! but , as a designer , I think they should make different and stylish kits to be permanent in mind ! .. for example they may not have away kits just like in the same colors as Barça has .. thats easy i think ! if Basel was founded in 1893 and if they are important , i just think they'd have rights to say a word about that to nike...this is just my opinion , ok ?

Barça is not wearing the design that Basel or Steaua wore 2-3 years ago. Barça is not using the color that Basel or Steaua used 2-3 years ago. The opposite is happening. That's the fact.

And that they are using the same damn colors as Barca... well what the hell do you expect? They share the same team colors.
Oh and actually Basel's home kit since last summer is the same one that you got this season.

But honestly? Who gives a ****? Some teams share the same colors and why should the kit manufacturers make special kits for every single team then? Doesn't make much sense, especially if like in this case several teams even share the stripes.

still about the barça/steaua/basel kits well they have the same combination of colours, the same stripes model..well nike can't just invent new designs for minor teams just because they have kits with the same design of big clubs..of course they will pay much more attention do barça kits

my club (sporting portugal) has the same kit design as celtic..but which one has their tradition, their history that makes the club unique for the supporters..i think steaua and basel supporters didn't get mad when they see kits like barça if the nike guys keep their tradition alive..that's what matters..at least to me

Both have different technical sponsors and I checked their shoulder part and their lines match as different way(Maybe you know already)
Maybe you don't know that Anorthosis and Sporting(Last season because your comment is perfectly wrong)are both sponsored by puma and have vertical stripes but it is actually a different design.

Well that current Basel away isn't a same design of Barca 05-06 away and 06-07 third? And Basel, Steaua and Barcelona's kit similarity is kind of accidental one. There are a lot of nike vertical stripe version or others and they met by chance. Isn't it uselss to say they copied others as mentioning A has more history than B? Almost every teams(It is very frequent on national teams because they change kits mostly once per 1~2 yeas like changing various design and brands - some teams do not like famous teams. for example, Hong Kong, Andorra, Slovakia they use same adidas togue design currently and also more than 5 teams in Europe use togue and lost of teams use togue design worldwide and some teams have all kits as togue and some only have h/a in togue also far far away team have similar design then can you say that there is a clue of copying?)share various design(Except event match or anniversary one)and sometimes if there are new designs inventedand it is adapted to next season.

well cmc211 i see we have different opinions so there is no reason to continue this discussion (discussion in a good way of course..i like to know that there are different opinions in the same subject..world would be boring)

for me as long as my club keep their green and white horizontal stripes, black shorts and green and white socks i would be happy..that kit represent our tradition, our history, our club...not the crap that puma made this year with that green v-neck thing...

anyway the shirts don't win matches...that is the job of the players and their, like we say in portugal, "amor à camisola" (proud in wearing the club shirt)
