Agreed.

Unfortunately the myopic glaucoma-ridden tw*ts at UEFA wouldn't allow it due to their anti-stripes/chequers/halves/etc. ruling. What's wrong with a blue number with a thick white outline?

im not a fan of the new fonts nike are using for their new kits... far too generic, i really liked the ones that have been around the last few years. its almost like they have gone backwards

Yes they were, but the 2006 kit was ruined by the big white bit on the back, all because of this "number clarity" bullshít. I know the 2004 kit had a white bit around the number, but the name was still on the chequered bit, and official replica jerseys were completely chequered so that it wouldn't look daft without a number on it for a fan to wear.

Anyway, the kit they wore in the 1998 World Cup had the number directly on the chequered bit, and I could see it clearly from a mile away, so screw you FIFA & UEFA! (H)

Moving swiftly on, another new Nike set, this time, Singapore, using what is definitely the "standard" 2008 Nike template...

Well the idea of making the collar like the Dutch flag is great itself, but the kit is very weak, it looks like a simple t-shirt with two logos

I aggravated my cousin with that pic before the third kit got released saying it was the actual third kit and the muppet believed me. Haha (H)

My thoughts exactly.

I'd have thought they'd have gone back to the red-green-red like they've worn in the past, or even worn red-white-green just like Eusébio and co in the 60's... what are the FPF doing???
