I would guess so.soto14;2480620 said:What about Ireland new kit? Was it released as well? Will they be wearing it tomorrow?

When the new Engl*nd home shirt got released and was first used, I'm pretty sure going from memory that Rep. of Ireland wore their new away kit that same night. We'll soon see tomorrow what's what.

Xifio;2480105 said:why picking on Barça? our red shorts were worn during the historic League and Champions League-winning season of 2005/06 ... those shorts were worn in that Champions League final, and will go down in history as a winning outfit ... some kit-maker 20 years down the line will make another Barça kit with red shorts, as a tribute to the second Golden Age of Barça ...
the point I'm trying to make is that there is no way to compare Barça's legendary red shorts to a jersey that highlights England's embarrassing failure to qualify for EURO 2008 ...

Italy Home
easyeasyeasy;2481058 said:And yes I should have been at the game tonight only muggins here has got to travel 15 miles to pick my missus up from work in an hour's time, so I could have only stayed there 45 minutes, argh!
Maybe only players get gold:Xifio;2481074 said:hahaha, nice one!
a note about the new puma home numbering: unlike Mikey M., I love the LED-like styling! that italy kit would have looked great with gold numbering because of all the gold trim on the shirt, but they've gone for white numbering for some reason ... it looks weird, and hopefully this is only a temporary glitch ...
Portugal, meanwhile, are not wearing a new home kit ... they obviously haven't released that home kit we saw a leaked pic of ... and i suppose they haven't released their away kit either, coz I'm sure it'll be white, and it would have worked fine against the Azzurri ...
Holland's away kit looks refreshingly different ... maybe I just feel that way coz the Oranje are up 2-0 ...
coupled with blue shorts and socks, France's red away looks very smart indeed! contrastingly, Spain have opted to pair their "gold" away kit with white (?!) shorts and socks ... thought it would be all-"gold", or dark navy shorts ...
I'm not a fan of the new Puma home numbers, they look so glitched and tacky, yet the away ones aren't too bad. It does seem weird that Italy have white numbers when in the presentation they were gold. I saw personalised Italy shirts on Subside which had white fonts and thought it was an error because I expected them to be gold, but they were right in the first place, interesting!Xifio;2481074 said:hahaha, nice one!

Yep that does seem a little bit odd, maybe the new Nike home kits (apart from Brazil) will be unveiled later this month or perhaps next month, we'll soon see...Xifio;2481074 said:Portugal, meanwhile, are not wearing a new home kit ... they obviously haven't released that home kit we saw a leaked pic of ... and i suppose they haven't released their away kit either, coz I'm sure it'll be white, and it would have worked fine against the Azzurri ...
It does indeed, I had the previous home shirt which I thought looked smart but the blue one does look quite nice. Interestingly with the comment about "old" Nike shirts above, Croatia are in their old home kit in that game, even though we've seen leaked pics of the supposed new home shirt. In addition Turkey are wearing their soon-to-be-superseded home kit against Sweden.Xifio;2481074 said:Holland's away kit looks refreshingly different ... maybe I just feel that way coz the Oranje are up 2-0 ...
France's kit looks alright, almost got me mixed up with Spain because Spain have typically worn red with blue shorts. Spain's away kit does seem odd, having white shorts and socks with it, unless the home shorts are also defined as the first choice for use with the away kit and these white sets are "change" shorts/socks. Interesting!Xifio;2481074 said:France's red away looks very smart indeed! contrastingly, Spain have opted to pair their "gold" away kit with white (?!) shorts and socks ... thought it would be all-"gold", or dark navy shorts ...
Xifio;2480795 said:where do I start with the differences? i mean, the shade of blue is brighter ... the sleeves are different ... the swoosh is a different colour AND is in a different place .. the club badge too has been moved ... there's a new star above the badge ... the collar is slightly more depressed ... there's a swanky chequered pattern lining the inside of the collar, likely coupled with a touching embroidered message ... come on, the two shirts are as completely unlike each other as is humanly possible!
I understand your disappointment, it doesn't look much different at all, shame on Umbro.soto14;2481173 said:What do you think about Ireland's new? This time I AM disappointed! come on, what changes from the previous one?!?!
