New Kits 2005/2006

I actually like the kits. The only I thing I have problems with is the NT which wears them.
I hope Nike uses this design for other countries too. Then I might buy a jersey.

I'm really really not liking the direction they're going with soccer jerseys. It used to be that jerseys got more innovative and sleek every year. This is a huge step backwards and frankly it's kind of embarassing.

The only new kits that suck are the new Puma kits other than that I'm impressed by everything I've seen in here. The plain orange Holland ones are fantastic

The number on the Jersey is a a little wierd though. I hope they change that, color of the font too, like white with black borders would bee nice. Other than that i think they are ok, but being a German fan i hate everything dutch that is not called Roy Makaay.

Nah bro, it's 'back to basics' with a collar and a warmer tone of orange. The away shirt has a red white and blue diagonal stripe like we had in the 1950's.

The home shirt is inspired by the 1956 home one, and the away by the 1906 away one.

The Holland kit is awesome, but if they'd cut the white parts on the badge of the home kit it would look even better, and the font is pretty nice too. The away kit=classic, and the fact that they put collars makes it even better!

Hope they're for real, it's the only kit worth seeing.

it will be changed, we know a date for release allready and umbro wouldn't be very smart using a 2 years old kit design in one of the biggest footie tournaments ever.

hmm the holland kits are IMO nice - as already said plain and simple and the home one got a collar ! and the "away" is classy - got a touch of south america - style with their diagonal stripes.

England Away
First of all no kit is used in 2 tournaments today (from the big nations at least)

the manufacteres - want to show off their new models.

the associations want to make money from selling them

England had the current Red Away Shirt during Euro04 so they won't have it for the World Cup 06.

the shirts get sold with the name including the "timespan" in ther name - England Home Shirt 05-07 as example.

England's away shirt was released in the early part of 2004 (March or April I think), so as each shirt has a 2 year life span, a new one can be expected in the spring, in time for the World Cup.

omg adidas and puma and co are producing ****e kits. What do they think? That we are fools? We will stupidly buy these because they are NEW? Sorry i was against the Total 90 Nike range when it came out but when the Socceroos design came out it looks the best of the current kits going around.
