I can't wait for the next WC and Euro, there seems to generally be a great new crop of talented youngsters from several countries that will peak during the next two major events..

Why do you call Golden Generation? They have won notihng. This generation was promissing, but the players only play good football at the clubs.

they won the youth world cup and euro championship back to back, that's why they were called the golden generation. many countries have promising players here and there, but this was different because it was an entire team.

unfortunatly for whatever reasons, they didn't live up to thier expectations..

They beat Brazil for the World U-21 Competition...

Anyways, I think you should add Fabio Paim, Vieirinha, Helder Barbosa, Carlos Saleiro, Bruno Gama, Yago Fernandez, Yannick Djalo, etc. etc.
