Welcome to the first episode of my Flop To Top Series. Flop to Top is where I take a league or nation on Ultimate Team and start off with a non-rare bronze team with that league or nation. I then upgrade players as I go through divisions but I can only upgrade players to the next level (If I have a full rare bronze team, I can only buy non-rare silver players). My aim is to win division 1!

Why would you play on amateur level, the CPU stands around letting you score. How is winning 6-1 fun? I really don't understand the appeal, sorry. If you're interested in an actual challenge, here's a suggestion... Look at these two screens. The top screen is from your video, every goal you scored looks pretty much like that. Notice the unrealistic player spacing and positioning, you could drive a battalion of tanks thru the holes in that backfield. Player positioning in real football looks nothing like that; real football looks like the bottom screen. You can create this sort of realistic player positioning that by adjusting the line sliders as indicated. Doing so accomplishes two things: It forces more of your players up the pitch, which in turn draws more CPU players back to help defend.

If you're into simulation/real football rather than the spam fest that is default FIFA, take some time to fiddle about with the line sliders. You'll have much better games overall and you won't be winning every game 6-1 I can tell you. People would actually have a reason to watch then.

Are you saying you can't adjust difficulty and line sliders while playing online, and that you have no choice? If so, where's the fun in that, that's arcade madness, it's not football you're playing. Why would you even bother? To collect cards, is that the point?
