just looking at the rankings and i must say this new system is alot more accurate,germany in 9th is okay as i belive they were quite low down in the last rankings but i cant beleive that ireland are in 39 while cameroom are in 12 and didnt even get into the world cup like ireland and a country i never knew even had a scorer team is a bove us who the hell are hurasond

at least they have been semi-finalists..and the only reason u guyz made it through at the 02 WC is bcuz KOrea beat portugal. Oh yea and they scored more goals this WC than you guyz. Show some respect instead of putting them down FFS.

this "agree / disagree" talking is just stupid. many people here seem to think the ranking expresses the opinion of fifa, like if their technical study group, executive committee or something wanted to put brazil 1st, guinea 24th, honduras 38th, etc.

i mean... it's stupid to say you disagree with the results of the formula. it's ok to disagree with the formula, and in that case you should write how to actually make it better instead of "uh... this team should not be Xth, that one should be Yth"...

First of all, yes that is a clear penalty and second of all what does a call in a Round of 16 game have to do with Italy winning the final . So what if they got a "call" in the Round of 16, they still won in the quarters, semis and the final without any "calls"

aight i agree with u dat they played great the last 3 games... but de wc isn't just those three last games, if it was, i wud say they deserved to win de title hands down.
I'm sry though i can't agree wit u about dat being a penalty though and wit out dat call it was almost sure Australia was going to go through because of the way they were playing. The best thing an Italian did in dat game was Totti sucking his thumb after he score so... i couldn't really see how Italy wud have won wit out dat call... but hey congrats to de Italians now they have 4 title which will make Brazil work harded on de next wc since there will be a chance of a nation tying wit them.

I don't think it was a penalty. He basically decided to not move his foot and fell. He basically stopped, the defender made a tackle and then the italian started to run again, "tripping" into his upper body :boohoo:
