Hey guys, i've been away for a little bit, half due to my personal life is shaky at the moment, but also, because me and my buddy are starting a fantasy sim league, me and him did it for 3 years stright, while we were in high school, had like 38 teams at one point and were included in an article in a british newspaper about fantasy leagues, anyways, after like 4 years off, we are at it again.

It's a sim league, you pick a team, and you are the manager/president and you make lineups, deal players and everything around the club, you earn money by games (ticket), selling players and other fun league stuff.

We don't have a web site yet but will soon. Our message board is up, we put it up few days ago, http://s15.invisionfree.com/EFFL/index.php?act=idx

We will be using the newest Championship Manager game to simulate matches. It's a fun way to participate in the game and to get to know alot of great people. If interested, please visit the forum i posted and respond under LEAGUE NEWS that you are interested and what club you would like.

In season 1, we will have 16 clubs, 8 premier, 8 1st divison with a religation/demotion, and expending in year 2.

Check out our plans, rules and several games that we've simmed "for fun" to give people a preview. Teams are going fast, we've been up and running for like 3 days, and we have 5 locks right now and about 5-6 others in interviews to join our league.

Come check it out.

If you need more info, PM me or e-mail me @ [email protected]

thanks.

If you use Football Manager instead of Championship Manager, I might be tempted to join other than that, no thanks.

Is this really time spending. I mean, how much time do I need to use, let say per week on this?

Sounds really interesting. Possible to be Rosenborg? :ewan:

So what teams are possible to choose then?
I know AC Milan, Juventus, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea FC, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Lyon (premiership) and Liverpool (Division one) is possible (not taking in consideration that some already are taken).

Time spending: Not really much. Some weeks are less then others. The main job is, writing atleast 1 article a week (like a 3-4 paragraphs about your game or general club news), and to hand in lineups. Some weeks you will need to submit 1 lineup, some weeks 2 (because theres a league and a cup).

We hope you visit the forum on a daily basis, just to see any news or whatever, but you really don't need to. 1-2 articles a week and 1-2 lineups a week.

I'd say to be a good manager, you'd spend about 1-2 hours a week on this league. (this is, writing lineups, article, looking at other results, reading articles and researching free agents).

If you're really commited, we can change a club to say Rosenborg. We wanted to pick the best clubs in Europe so the best talent will be in the league. If you're really keen on Rosenberg, we can work something out.

But, you'd most likey stuggle and not too many managers would trade for your current players. However, you'll have alot of money to build Rosenberg so it's really up do you.

The best thing to do, would be select a big club, and at the end of season 1, relocate to Rosenberg.

You're job will be very tuff with Rosenberg, but, we're open to any clubs.

I want to try it, what clubs are available ? Is Inter or Real?

Nope, both taken.

milan, madrid, barca, man utd, Liverpool, Inter Milan, Arsenal, Lyon, Juventus and Valencia are all taken.

Dortmund, Celtic, Atletico and Ajax still available in Divison One.

Chelsea and Bayern available in Premier League. Lyon also might be, we have a guy who used to play in our old league as 50/50 and wanted them, he wont give us an anwser til tomorrow, so check back tomorrow night to see if their still available or not.

If you're interested in some other club for Divison One, i can always make a change, although it'll be hard for us to give you a weaker club like Rosenberg unless you show us tons of interest, because if you do quit, it'll be hard for us to find a replacement for your team.

PM me on the league board (i'm piastking) or e-mail me ([email protected])

Yeah, 10 years ago! :ewan:
And Rosenborg is very underrated in FM06 in my opinion, at least it is damn hard playing with them :(

Think I'll give up on being Rosenborg then.
