COuld someone please post this over at SI forums cos i haven't been registered yet!! also i do have the enhancement pack installed
I have just finished my first season as Boheimans in the Irish league. I thought it would be good to hone my skills in a random league. It worked, i stormed the league and won it without losing a game. And the board were only looking for mid-table mediocrity. So not bad. I pulled off a couple of Coups by getting Aliadiere from arsenal and Forsell from chelsea on season long loans. They were only too happy to let them have forst team expereince. but anyway........as i said i stormed the league, didn't lose a game and also won the league by 20 odd points so i was slightly disappointed that at no point that season i was given the manager of the month award, NOT ONCE. So imagine my dispair when i wasn't even mentioned in the top THREE managers of the season let alone the winner. So i was duely p**sed off. So i carried on looking through the awards, none of my players in the player of the year award, strange as aliadere had scored 38 goals but i thought okay, i'll let it off for that one. So it came to the team of the year award. The message on my news section says "Jim Gannon, willie doyle and someone else had been selected in the team of the year". Okay thats all well and good, but they play for Shelborne and i'm the manager of Bohiemians!!!!!
So.... on i went to look at the team of the year and guess what......I had one entry in the 16. ONE. I had walked the league and i get ONE entry. For F**ks sake!!!! But to add insult to injury Shelborne had ELEVEN players in the team of the year, ELEVEN!!!! and guess what...... they finished SECOND TO BOTTOM!!!!!!!!. I had put up with the other bugs, but when it doesn't acknowledge my achievements of a long hard season then it's getting personal. I remember something similar happened in TCM2003, this is not good SI, not good at all!!!
If there is a sensible reason for this then i am glad to listen to it, but i am just wondering what your game testers are doing. They are surely hired to find bugs and people who have been playing the game for a couple of hours are finding more than they are.
Another bug i've found, but it may have already been discussed is that after i have installed the enhancement pack, on the team form screen all the L's for loses have been replaced by W's for wins. So the team that is bottom of the league is normally top of the form table. VERY BAD!!!! I think this might be the problem, at least in the manager of the month awards because on the form screen the worst manager is top because it thinks they are winning every game when they are actually losing every game so it thinks that team is the best at the moment and so awards the manager the award.
I know i have waffled a bit, and i'm sorry, but can you please post these bugs in the Si forum so they can be rectified in the Enhancement pack 2. Thankyou!!!!
