Apparently there are six books, the last three of them have been written between 2004 and 2008. Though I'm not sure whether the last one has been released.

The first 3 books are written by Ludlum, the rest are by some other dude after Ludlum died.

Love the series - probably the best series of action movies I've seen. I have to question whether another one is necessary, though.

It will be a tough ask to follow up Ultimatum.

Indeed, they have set the bars so high with the last one that anything below it will be counted as a bad movie. But I will be happy to see Bourne make a comeback.
