I was 3 or 4mins into a game of PES5 and I hit the exit button , I couldn't be arsed. I can't get into it any more , a year of playing nearly every day , hours at a time and now Im fed up with it ....


Its nearly all the same moves to get a goal , same players that score , no real support from midfield. At kickouts from the cpu keeper, I look at the radar and my back 4 are a few yards outside my own pen-box ....

I just hope PES6 can get me started again and its not just a few tweaks of PES5 ....

Why do you think I'm playing FIFA 07 this year...............because I needed a change and was sick of playing the same game year after year, which is what PES has become.................oh and not to forget, because PES6 wont have a bundesliga :nape:

If it's the only game you've played for the last year, I can't blame you. I play a bunch of different games so PES is always refreshing for me.

Yeah it happens Mighty ^^ just play against human that's funnier :p there are other games to play ^^ (and please, not fifa, this game is a joke)

and about bundesliga: WE DON T CARE. rah. everyone here modidy his PES, why people are crying about that ??!!

360 owners care. From what we are hearing we will not be able to edit kits in the edit mode of the 360 version of PES6. And there is no current way to alter a file in 360 game dumps. It must be a 1:1 copy which means no patching for the 360 version either.

Sorry, I don't want to play the PS2 version (which is all the PC version is with the choice to change the resolution) and grow up you fecking fanboys, FIFA isnt that bad this year :rolleyes:

I have other games but PES is the love of my gaming life and its a sad day when the love goes ...

I think I know why , well I think Ive always known ! Its the lack of movement of your other players, pass the ball from defence to midfield and the defence moves back to default position, yes I know about pass and hit the shoulder button to make the passing player run foward but thats forced if you will , they don't move like a team would do in a real game. how many times are you caught with your full back deep in the cpu half , as soon as you move your control icon to another player , the player you just moved your icon from , runs back into his "starting" postion.

Its the lack of flow to the team that gets you in the end, as I said , pes is the best Ive played, but even though it is , it still feels , robotic !

Now I don't want to get into the FIFA PES thing , if FIFA was the better game I would say so and play it .. But what I did want to ask , when EA said of FIFA07 , that the ball was Free it was not longer part of the animation, what did they mean by that ?

I think I have a general gist of it , but can someone explain in gaming terms , and is ball in PES totally free or is it still part of the animation ...

MightyTic I had with all the PES series the same problem as you. PES 3, 4 and 5. When I had that problem I just didn't play the game for a week or 2. And then, I want to play it again! Yesterday I even started a new Master League game!

This method allways works for me ;)

And kehkehkeh is right too! That was a very strong and good comment :jap:

Even though I dislike pes5 compared to other pes version's, I would still rather play 'a year of boredom' pes5's gameplay than the new fifa '07.

I don't know if the demo of fifa '07 was the finished code, but the '07 demo's gameplay is so restricted compared to pes5.


And yes, i'm fifa knocking :hit:

Fifa '07 just feel's so lame compared to pes5.

Well, after getting bored of pes5 after a year of incessantly play, isn't that bad compared to getting bored within 5min's play of fifa '07.

And yes, it's fifa bashing. :hit:
