I've always been a fifa boy, & heard just like a month ago off PES. I always thought it just would be a playstation game, after trying out IIS3 i was very dissapointed, so back to fifa it was. but then along I started too read this forum & your thoughts about PES3 & you all talked like this was a god made game. They also said that about fifa 2004. We all know what happended with ea's hangover.

But the critics ware true, PES 3 really is a amazing game, thank you guys. If it was not of your appreciating about the game, I wouldn't even bothered 2 download the PES demo.
Man, what a miracle would I have missed.

Keep PES alive & really, fifa Fans, give this one a try, you'll see what I'm talking about.

I've been waiting for this moment for ages...now I have both the Fifa 2004 demo and the PES3 Demo I can say "EA YOU CAN STICK YOUR CRAP PIECE OF TURD RIGHT BACK UP UR SORRY ASSES!!"

I've just pre-ordered PES3 on the PC and hope the mod community kicks off for PES on PC....PES IS KING LONG LIVE PES!!!! :D

oddly enough, fifa 2004 isnt that bad on ps2. different to the pc version which is very wierd. still isnt as good as pes/we but its certainly a step in the right direction from EA. if only konami would take as much care with all the presentation etc like EA.

I've just switched allegance to the PES community and already I'm seeing a comment bashing Konami...and comments that EA do certain things better!!!!!!!

Will it ever end??? At least with PES3 I get a decent game of football on my PC.

I played the first winning eleven series on the SNES many years back and ever since then, I've not played any PES/WE series on the PS2. I can only play Fifa every year cos I only have the PC. The PES3 PC demo/game is my wet dream come true... after playing this demo, when I went back to play my Fifa 2004 demo, I was like 'wtf is this?' after 1 min and I went back to PES. Sorry Danny Issac & EASports, I had high hopes for Fifa 2004, and again you dissapoint and with PES for the PC, I bid farewell to FIFA.

For Fifa, defending is really boring.. either its impossible (because of the positioning of your own player) or its so easy.. you just tap a botton. The have to remove the standing tackle crap. You tap the botton, the ball is yours now. WTF?? even if your back is facing the opponent... ITS NOT REAL SOCCER.

And the CPU is stupid.. they make vital mistakes at their own end, by passing the ball right to you. Furthermore, after they took the ball off of you (near the sideline at their own end), I have no damn clue why the fck the clear the ball out of play. I mean, if you took the ball, don't you want to keep the possession? When the CPU took the ball (off of my Sheva), there wasn't any of my players around the CPU to do anything. Amazingly, the dipsht cpu just clear the ball for no obvious reason. What a dumbass programmer.

Possible to be a PES AND FIFA fan????

Obviously PES is superior in gameplay. Anyone who knows soccer will agree. It really brings the "Beautiful Game" to life.

But I still buy FIFA every year... WHY you ask??

For the humour!!!!! I find the FIFA series hillarious... I don't intend offence to the developers, who must go into at least some work to crank out a brand-new title every year, but almost every FIFA title is just really funny! And I don't mind that.

My fav is FIFA 2002... With the amazing Beckham-accurate long balls from the CPU every pass!!! Now thats just good fun.

I believe you didnt.

Nevertheless your prolonged lingering of this forum imply a high level of curiosity for the game. Why dont you download and give it a try. You have nothing to lose. And if you decide that it really does sucks, then more wood for you to burn PES at the stake. How bout it?:)
