Well it was a great game but at the same time is shame will will most likely be watching ze damn germans in the quarters instead of this dutch team.

I wanted all the biggest teams to get in the quarters because im tired of so many upsets like at World Cup and the last champions league where each of the tournaments for the most part dissapointed.

not a very good line up if you would compare it to something like

Spain vs. France
Portugal vs. England
Italy vs. Holland
Sweden vs. Chech

It'll be sad if the Dutch don't go through because they are clearly better than the Germans.

Czech Republic play great football. All of their players played great.

The worstpart of the match was taking Robben out for Bosvelt. Bosvelt came in to stop Nedved and couldn't.

Nedved, Rosicky, Davids Seedorf all played fantastic.

UNBELIEVABLE WHAT A DAMN SHAME!!!
First of all, we deserved much more than this defeat, to take out Robben was the biggest mistake f*cking Advocaat he's such a schmuck, I hope they kick his ass after this tournament
The ref was a JOKE, v Nistelrooy got pulled down clearly and it should've been a penalty 100%.
The red card for Heitinga was a JOKE, it was a schwalbe from Nedved, Davids immediately told him this and they argued.
But it was a fantastic match and clearly one of the better one at this Euro 2004. Finally we played like we are suppose to play, attacking attacking attacking what a difference Robben made today and Ruud showed once again that he's fantastic.
Btw it was no off side cause the rules have been changed, v Nistelrooij didn't took part of the game at that moment so his goal was legal.

What I hate most is that now we have to wait if the Czechs do what they are supposed to do and that is beat Germany!
Nedved will not play against Germany I just heard so that's lucky for the Germans.
We have to win against Latvia but if it helps........???

I'm gutted. We were 2-1 up, the game could go any way. The player creating the most was Robben, we were on the verge of scoring that vital 3rd goal. What does Advocaat: takes him off, and reverses to 4-4-2, with Ruud the only striker capable of scoring, because Vd Meyde clearly can't. It's just unbelievable. How can you take off your best player when the game is everything but decided. We got what we had coming. Czechs deserved to win in the end if you switch back to ******* coward tactics. The players were awesome, it was the most entertaining game of the tournament, but the refereeing and the coaching were piss poor to say the least.

What an amazing game that was!

My bro thought it was over after 2-0 but I said that we'd come back, and we DID!

This is the best game I've seen since Brazil - Holland in '98. For the most part, this is how soccer/football should be played, a positive attacking style.

That shot by Nedved would've been the goal of the decade, simply incredible!


THe Czech's will hopefully build on this win..all the way to the final..?

As seen on Tuesday when Germany was the better team and the Dutch were lucky to get a draw against us.

Well even though Holland tied Germany on tuesday, and Germany clearly looked the better side, I don't see how its possible to argue anymore, after seeing todays performances, that Holland's team this year does not outclass the Germans. I'm only seventeen, but through my short life I have been disapointed again and again by Holland, and I knew tonight that the 2-0 lead just wouldnt be enough . I was too young obviously to see Holland win in '88, but to me it just seems like there is a curse following holland, because a team that played like they played today just HAS to advance and I don't see that happening. It always seems like its either internal arguments (players too arrogant and arguing with each other), the coach, or penalties that gets Holland in the end. And today, even though I normally don't like to blame the ref, I have to say he affected the outcome; the call on Heitinga was absolute rubbish, and really harsh. Ruud not getting the penalty was unlucky, because I guess the ref just didn't see it. But in the end, the fact that Holland does show that they can come together to play beautiful (in my opinion, the most beautiful of the tournament so far) football, just makes their failure in advancing even worse. I know I'm being pessimistic, a bit, but I also believe that Czech will rest their players against Germany, and Germany of course will throw everything they have at Czech, as both know that a German win will allow both of them to go through.

Anyway I'm trying not to be biased - I shouldn't be completely biased anyway, as I am only half Dutch and have lived there only for 9 years. But did anyone notice this German defender, I forget his name, who is always headlocking dudes??! He headlocked Van Nistelrooy, but rvn still got through to score the goal, but today he was headlocking a bunch of Latvian dudes! I think its pretty funny but at the same time I don't know how that guy is getting away with it!

In my opinion, even though the Czechs arent playing with full force, Germany is just too bad to advace. Netherlands played very good football today, their manager just screwed up.

They repeat the same formation against Latvia and it's a thrashing. Germany couldnt beat the Latvian, and i dont expect them to have a easy life against the Czechs.

The truth is that Hollands fate rests in which German team will be playing against the chech. (the one that played holland or the one that played Latvia.)

PS. remember germany lost 5-1 against romania and 2-0 against Hungrary. hopefully that team will show up.
