I dont get it? Surely you dont mean Turkish men dont have control other their wifes? Because in Turkey, from what I know (it might have changed due to EU pressure) a husband is still allowed to beat his wife :D (and long shall it last)

no man, thats ancient history. now if such incidents happen, women can divorce the husband and can get %50 of his assets.
and for what our german friends said, turkish people are known with their power if you know what i mean, it took someting like 3-4 crusader attacks to stop ottomans , dont forget that.
