Need help writing a song...

OK, my friend's punk band are low on ideas and I said that I'd help them come up with some songs by writing some lyrics. Well I was wondering if any of you guys could think of a topic for a punk song or even better - think up some funny lyrics (since their type of punk band is the type that sings about anything).

The best part about the song is that I am making the video clip for it. Me and 2 guys from the band have already come up with some ideas of how the clip will be set out and where the filming will take place - We just need a song, so it would be great if you could post a song topic or a few lines, even a sentence of lyrics. You will be credited for the song too and eventually we'll put the song and video clip on the net if it turns out really good.

Thanks QuikZilver, We're not 100% sure yet but we want the guys from the band to be playing the song on a train for some of the song and other parts of the song they'll be running around the city doing... whatever, and I just film it.
But the song can still be about anything, it doesn't have to have anything to do with trains or the city. So yeah....... a song about anything will do.

And don't think I'm just leaving it to you guys. I'll still be thinking of stuff too. So don't think I'm being lazy by posting this. lol

anyhoo it might help us to give us an idea of what previous songs have been about...perhaps you could do a song bout drinkin with mates, if you do one about that id love to hear it...i need a good 'drinkin with mates' song, and punk would be sweet

Ah, I'm coming up with lyrics for a song I intend to make myself (give me some experience) called "Waste Management." I mean, you're asking for inspiration. The title is fairly simple and the song is about relationships of course (pop punk, shocking). Basically, you offered the girl everything you could, she stopped caring, gave up or whatever, blamed everything on you, and in doing so threw away everything you offered her (love, friendship, commitment, etc.). Now you have to dig what she threw away out of the metaphoric garbage to move on...

Yeah, I've just got a chorus. I have to borrow a dormmate's guitar and whatnot but I'll figure it out by the end of the semester.
