why is it most of the time when i meet a chick, she likes me and then i say i am Bosnian and they dont like me as much as they did... same with guys, they think ima shoot them or something its weird, any idea why this happens with the chicks?

When I tell people I'm originally from Bulgaria I get nothing but a blank stare. The person I'm talking to just blinks and says

"Bulgaria, hmmm..."

They roll their eyes, as if they know something about Bulgaria and they're trying to remember it.

So then I say: "That's in Europe."

After which I get a nod (as in "Oh, Europe. I know where Europe is.")

So Sanel... I suggest making up a fake country and telling people you're from there, just to mess with them. I guarantee you nobody will catch on. ;) j/k

i was just about to ask if its the same with you if you live in America?

all my friends are mostly Bosnian and some Albanians, and i do have a lot of gurl friends too but they are the "not" racist ones i think and the ones who love to f*ck a lot, just like we do. (Bosnians... and Dragan and Kader and Serb)

One of the coolest guys I met in high school was a Bosnian. Never met any girls though.. I stick with the Russians.

I've noticed this as well.

Like you won't see the "minorities" chillin with the white* people... I dunno why, prejudice? They won't really say anything bad, they'll act cool and everything but you won't be tight with them either. It's like if at least your parent's weren't born here, you're not as good or something, like they immediately cross you off thinking they have nothing in common with you. That's how it's at my school anyway, I have very few white friends and it's mostly chicks so meh :p Black, spanish, arab... i'm tight with all of them but the abercrombie kids, i'll talk to them in class, say whats up and thats it. Then asians are another story, you practically never hear them speak English they only chill among their fellow countrymen, but that's coz there's so many of them :D

are you sure you dont go to my school... cuz its the same as you just said. :eek:

in my school there is like 5 of us Bosnian guys, and like 3 Bosnian chicks in the whole school out of 800 students (pretty small) and everyone thinks of us as the "tough guys" or sh*t like that because we used to fight a lot when we first came to the school... first we had a fight with whiteboys, it was us Bosnians and a few Albanians and some of us had guns so they ran away, and next day in school everyone was staring at us and talking like how we got guns and we kill people and all that bull, then next fight it was the blacks, we walked thru the hallway and talking when this black kid goes to my friend and says "hey yo f*ckin immigrant watch your mouth", and then i went and pushed him, got suspended 3 days and he got nothing... then we were suppose to fight but they didnt show up, and we had a few other mini-fight but nothing big, but i still dont understand why the gurls are not diggin it when i say im Bosnian, or probably any other nationality if i said i was... am i THAT ugly?

It's cause he's on my soccer team and he's really fast so we always joke about how he's like one of those runners from Kenya. That's where he got it from I guess.

I have sometimes the same problem when I mention that I was born and lived most of my life so far in Paraguay. 85% of the people I talked don't know where Paraguay is, but that's ok :S . We are not a big country and nothing really goes on there so I it's something normal for me. :)

But once you tell them where are you from, they want to know more about your country and they ask you things about it, at least my friends did that
