hey guys! please can someone help! my PES runs great and it was running awsome for the firrst like 3 weeks then out of no where whenever i get to the formation screen pre-match it just freezes, like the music keeps going and the game seems to run but everything else just locks up, and when i try to do training or something without formations, during the loading when "now loading" is falshing it just stops and freezes?

can anyone help im so bored and i need to play!

I got the exact same thing today. Saved my league game yesterday and left it as it is, loaded the game today it just freezes after start match. Changed the option file to default, nothing. Copied the original 0_text.afs file to the dat folder, still no joy. Strangest thing ever. How can a game just suddenly stop working by itself :/

EDIT: Found a solution myself, it seems the game has a problem with saved replays or with the amount of these to be precise. Removed all the replays and now it seems to work ok. :)

OMG i have no replays!!! coz i re-installed the game! did yours freeze at the formation screen? someonelse help me please!!!

Are you sure about that? Cause I think uninstalling doesn't remove saved games or replays by default. Savegame folder is in the My Docs folder in this version, you may still have it there. If you actually don't have it, then you should check out the pesfan forums technical issues section, there were some other suggestions as well.
