Need a good loaned player in january window for boro

i am in need of a great striker for middlesboro :D I have got no out and out goal scorer and i have no money to buy anyone in :( please can anyone tell me if there are any great goalscorers out there that i will have a good chance of getting on loan ? Only need them for 3 to 4 months ( To help me survive the premeirship ). I am not conceding many goals so defence is solid but yakubu is the only striker i have and he's only scored 10 goals.I do have Viduka and Juell and Maccarone but they hav'nt scored 2 goals between them :(

You go to player search. Go click on 'Customize Filters'. You select transfer status, and you select 'Listed For Loan' or 'Transfer Listed'. There will be a list of players that would normally have a loan offer accepted for them. So choose away.

If a striker somewhere is in form and scoring somewhere, anywhere, then it's unlikely they're available for loan. Taking in a striker who's either deemed not ready yet by their club or otherwise on the outer is a risk because particularly in FM07 morale WILL affect goalscoring. You could try to find someone for a loan (you'll have to search, or look for someone decent that's either on the bench or in reserves for huge clubs... I find that often FM players don't like loaning out players, particularly as top-flight teams, so you might not get many particular suggestions), though I'd suggest as an alternative to either try a one-striker formations with midfielders pushing forward to goalscoring positions or to persist with whichever non-Yakubu striker offers the most to your game aside from goalscoring (aerial ability, perhaps, "second striker" playmaking or just workrate or influence) and hope to play them into form.

I am trying to play a loan striker but he is playing very badly :( i will have a look at the customised search for players but i just thought there might be a few players out there that might be worth looking at. Like the suggestion of ' nicolas frutos' :D but thanks for the advise

I've had similar problems. High profile players like Cruz, Crespo and Saviola don't want to come on loan to play for Sunderland.

Try German Hornos of Sevilla. He is backup of the team, behind Luis Fabiano and Kanoute. I've loaned him for the season 07-08 for my Sunderland game in the premiership. we're currently 5th battling for a Champions League spot. 24 appearances, 14 goals, 2 assists. Low work rate, but very clinical.

At the beginning of the game, sign McBride for peanuts. In the season of 06-07, he's amazing in the championship, and pretty good in the top flight.

he plays for anderlect in the game. maybe i got his first name wrong.

can you check his name again as i've looked for him but he doesnt seem to be there ? unless he is a youth player and i hav'nt anderlecht's league in database so i won't be able to see youth squad for them ? But i would appreciate if you check again and let me know his right name. :D Thanks
