It's hard for him to come out and deny what he said when he went on Stephen A. Smith's show and said he wanted out. Bringing in a player like KG or Jermaine O'Neal won't help since we need help in other positions. We'd probably be better off trading Kobe and getting some help in return. That's hard for me to say since I've been a huge Kobe fan for a long time but if there's really nothing the Lakers can do to change his mind, then the team has to go out and find the best possible deal.

Even if he wants out, i doubt teams would listen. he makes huge salaries and is along term comitment. Jermaine O'Neil clearly stated that he wants to be a Knick (H) even though i would take KG over him any day.

Isiah has stated that we are a superstar away from being a campionship team. Well lets hope he gets his superstar and shuts the hell up with excuses and starts performing.

Not necessarily, Kobe can opt out of his contract in a couple of years so it's not really that much of a longterm commitment.
