i pciked this game up the other day and its amazing (PS2) by far the best sports game i have played ! ! any body else got it ? i went fantasy draft and took over golden state

got it, and don't think it's the best - too much action!
it's unreal how the shots either go in or fly to the crowd...

it's not a simulation, it's arcade, like nba street...

but with few tweaks the game is ok, but nba 2k3 is better IMHO

i was on starter but nowi think i am going to move up a notch as i have gone unbeaten for a while .. do you have it on ps2 or pc ? because i haven't seen shots fly into the crowd at all ??!

sorry, my mistake, it was just an expression, they don't fly to the crowd, what i ment was that there's too much huge blocks and not enough missed shots...

anyways i've got it on PC

i got it the day it was released for PC, played it for a week, and haven't played since

I think I will start playing it again The EA FREESTYLE moves are awesome!

I haven't figured out if you can control the dunks? Or they are random, and the freestyle controls don't affect them?

i got in on PC, i use my PSX pad to play , i think the freestyle thing is pretty random, i cant quite figure it out, the game is pretty arcadish, and dont you guys hate those damn cinematics, gawd, does EA suck at trying to be funny or what?

it seems like... the same player, sits in the coach's seat 30 times in every game, and gets slapped every time

well i love it i love the fantasy drafts ... i have stopped playing getaway at the moment and all i am playing is NBA live 2003 !!! its a great 2 player game as well .. the dunks on ps2 are controlled by the right analog stick ... ie down - up (R) is tomahawk and left - right is 180
