Kirkland develops into an absolutely brilliant keeper. Keep an eye on Paul Lancaster too

After buying Cissé for £14.5M I suggest selling Heskey like everyone else. (sorry) Be sure to give Le Tallec/Pongolle/Welsh their fair share.

Also keep an eye on David Raven and Zak Whitbread.

be careful mate, i ended up with -2m after the first season due to eufa cup not CL, i had to sell 15 players the day i won the league.

However now i have 100m in my 5th season

Apparently you can get loads of money for Heskey(dunno who's so crazy to give 10m for him ) which you can use to upgrade your squad so sell Heskey

well, if a player has a high reputation (like Heskey) the CPU teams will make offers for the player whether he is good or not...

exactly correct, i sold heslkey for 11m, but you can sell him for 15m

One to keep in mind for new games: make .ddt files to keep players in the database, in stead of selecting the whole league system for that country. Saves 40% in speed.

Also, my game is starting to freeze on me now. Like sometimes when I check on History, or just clicking a player will freeze it. What's happening?

will it speed up other saved games if you delete your pkms for other games? For instance, if i delete the pkm files from my Juve, Barca, other games will it speed up the Liverpool game? Also, what are these .apm files in the folder with the .pkm files and can they be deleted as well? Thanks

i dont think so, cos the game has to be loaded up first.
