You really f*cked up a potentially good wallpaper, mate. Before you have a go at me for slagging you off, I will give you contstructive pointers.
The grid, it would have looked good if the grid didn't take over the whole wallpaper, the whole point of the grid is for it to be background stuff, an added extra. The way you could change that is to make the grid lines thinnger (1px).
The concept the song names flying around is good but you're using the wrong font...
The wavy lines are overkill, spoils the whole thing and makes it look very amateur, I'd get rid of them. Also the horizontal thin line...what's that for? it doesn't server any purpose and again, spoils it. The thick black line doesn't look bad though you could add something to it, make it more interesting to look at.
Avril pic. Now obviously that is the main feature of your wallpaper so why do you fade it out? If you only have one pic in there keep the pic so it stands out to a maximum because that's the thing you want people to look at, at the moment the black line slightly overpowers Avril especially because you faded her into the grid or take a bigger picture of Avril so people get the feel that this really is an Avril Lavigne wallpaper.
The "Avril Lavigne" font is ugly, really spoils it. Use a more standard font such as Arial but not this fancy stuff, again spoils it, big time!
And last but not least, what's with sticking your email address at the bottom. I've seen quite a few do that to their wallpapers, can't you see that it totally spoils it, especially when you stick it in there at that size and font? For once and for all, adding name but especially email address to the bottom = amateur/noob, call it what you like...it ain't good.

but I think u've forgot somethin, everybody has his own thoughts. If I make the wallie the way u say, that's not my wallie anymore, that's ur wallie. the point of various wallies is the variety of thoughts. u can see diff designs in each wallie. for example, the fonts I used r what's in my mind. u cant say if it's good or bad, u can enjoy the variety of ppl's thoughts. u have some good points in ur post like i shudn have faded Avril's pic out. ye that's technicaly right n I admit it. but some things r about minds. I suggest u again, enjoy the variety of thoughts man. don try to make things the way u like, enjoy'em the way they r. but that doesn mean u have to ignore technical bugs.

But Me3 dude... if everyone has theire own "wallie" then whats the point of others giving comments? You should take these into consideration to help yourself... i mean if he posts a thought or comment about your picture then he is just trying to help, it doesnt make it his picture...
also, i think you should REALLY get rid of the email address, at least change the font of it....
