My FM Career??

Hey guys...

I recently bought FM2005, and after fiddling around somewhat for a day or so, I started a career with Real Madrid...I might post my stats soon...I hve a question, how come early in the season I would win like 5-0 all the time, but now the season is nearly finished the games are really hard??

Because youre players are most certainly really tired and there condition goes down. Also you might be going through a bad run of form

yes, 1 loss often leads to worse moral, which leads to worse play, which leads to the loss of points.

I once had such a bad form, in the last 8 matches of the season i dropped from 2nd to 8th with Middlesbrough. And was knocked out in UEFA-cup in that period too.

I hate those poor runs i was first in the League One with Chesterfield and the last 5 games of the season i couldnt get any points and so i had to go in the play-offs and i lost in the first stages of it.:s***:

I had something similar last season. I had 12 victories in row (league) and won UEFA Cup, and then I got one draw which led to 12 games without one victory in the league, and a 11 point lead became to 1 point lead when the season was over

It keeps happening to me too, i thought it was my tactic or something. I couldnt figure it out. Well thanks for clearing that one up.

Teams do adjust to your tactic though, so using the same one all year might not be the best idea.

And also don't rule out that you just suck

you'd be surprised by how little the AI does figure out your tactic actually..

Yeah I agree. I don't think that the loss of form thing has much to do with tactics. I've been using the same one for almost 5 years with Liverpool and things are still pretty much the same. I personally find that rotation of players regularly stops the form loss.
