My First FM06 Game- Sevilla

Sevilla were my favourite team in the last outing of the game, so I decided to start with them. And they've changed. Hit badly by the loss of Baptista and Ramos their team is in slight disarray. Given 11 mill to play with, which is in truth not a lot.

Firstly I sold Carlitos for 2.9 mill to Strasbourg. Realizing my centre backs both suck I go in search for some new ones. I come across the well known and CM legend for a while Ujfalusi, I pursuade Foirentina to let him go for 9 million. Then I buy the FM legend Mokeona for 200k. Not as good as he was last outing sadly, but good cover. Then I find one little gem and another good squad member. The little gem being Aythami, the other being a decent young striker Braulio.

NOw my squad was looking better, I was out of money but still needed another left mid really. And a few positions strengthened. But then.. in my noobness I put an very heavy training schedule on everyone and injury strikes! EVERYWHERE! Saviola, Palop etc. 7 player scout for the first 3 matchs. Where I lose 2 and win 1... I learn from my mistake make the training schedules much lighter and start getting a bit of form... but then I DON'T! I drop 4 points in two games agaisnt Cadiz and Racing... terrible. But I qualify for the group stages of UEFa cup with a 6-1 agg. win over Hibbernian.

This game is a lot harder then FM05 but still fun. Hopefully i'll last till summer and be able to buy some shortlisted players.

I liked using Sevilla in 05 as well, although my time with them was limited due to a computer crash. Baptista was a central midfielder making runs up to AMC, and Dario Silva pumped out goals like crazy.

The dual sweeper system was the best defense I've ever had on any team, it was honestly nearly unbreachable. I didn't buy any defenders, either. Silva, as I said, pumped out incredible amounts of goals, and Kristiansen was a great buy as a winger. He was my MOM most of the games, with Baptista, Silva, and Marti getting MOM a lot as well.

Well I got scaked :P and then took up a valncia job... doing well with them. Signed Navas (they'd already signed Joaquin and Torres !!) and i'm in the semis on the CL in my 3rd year, should win the title and I won UEFA cup and Spainish cup last season.
