El Diablo Rojo said:Hahah, gotta love "bambino" Ponz and his songs, apparently he got the background songs called after numbers, notice right atfer he stops saying "goool" on Scholes' goal he says "18", so when someone scores he says "ok bring (insert number here". For example yesterday in Manchester's penalty he said "If Saha scores then play the 9". He does that on everybody, only in the premier league matche he doesn't do it on the Libertadores' matches.
Classic, "la la la la la la, hey Ruud!"(with some song of Beatles on the background i can't remember its name). That was when Van Vistelrooy scored goals at Manchester.:funny:

'... and he shoots... and the ball finds the back of the net'
'... I'd say that was a goal, Peter.'
'... a goal indeed, Trevor old chap.'
'... Right. Exciting times here at Old Trafford.'

Sort of like Rick Jeanneret, a commentator for the Buffalo Sabres. The guy goes falsetto and yells "THE SHOT!" or "THE PASS!" every time someone moves the puck. One of these days he's going to have a stroke on the air, if he already hasn't.Callum said:I for one enjoy listening to spanish commentators, they get so excited when the ball gets within 40 yards of the goal.

Having said that, this commentator takes it a bit too far. But nice choice of songs, nonetheless.
What the **** singing and the music, that is disrespect to the team that conceded the goal if Chelsea conceded a goal and the commentator started singing I would break my TV in anger.
