Don't disagree, or you shall have the rare honour of having a wrong opinion.

this is true, valeron. This is probably because he is not at a massive club like real or even barca. He is indeed the most underrated playmaker, and i would not have thought of him unless u guys mentioned him, i remember him playing against arsenal at highbury, and i dont remember any other player coming to highbury and dominating the centre against viera the way he did, i was stunned sitting in the stands watching that

Why is this such a trend on this forum? One person says something next thing you know everyone says that person as well. Anyways, I say Paul Scholes.

its probably cus it jogs peoples memories like mine, and ne ways i wouldnt say scholes is a playmaker, his main job is getting goals from deep.

Another one is Kieran Dyer, he is yet to get the world recognition he deserves, if newcastle do well in europe next season maybe quarters, then teams will be looking at him. He runs forever and he has a good all round game

Pires. mainly because he is seen as a winger, but he often just goes to whole width of the pitch and he rarely loses the ball and he must have a pass completion in the 90 percental range

Enzo Maresca (can't believe he'll be Tacchinardi's reserve this year, the guy is amazing) among the young, Eugenio Corini among the old.

Alessandro Budel is a huge prospect; he's media-underrated, but he's great.

Played very well for 50 minutes vs. Cameroon at the Confed Cup before being taken down by a brutal tackle. He's still very young but he's already a great playmaker, could be the next Reyna.
