Most Important Game in your Clubs History.

Ok, for me Chelsea's post important game in its history was last seasons last game againist Liverpool.

Why do I think this? Well if we didn't get into the Champions League, would we of looked as an attractive buy for Roman? If he didn't come and rescue us, we may of faced relegation as a penality for debt's in the next few years. Now thanks to him, we have a bright future.

Whats your clubs most important game?

There are a number for me the last game of the season last season when we won our 50th Title or When we won the European Cup Winners' Cup or one which we won the last game of the season when we were going after 10 league championships in a row but celtic also won so we didn't get 10 in a row.

i dont believe that chelsea will be as succesful as everyone is thinking, players are already complaining they arent in the first team. Mutu has already complained and hes only just arrived

Personnally, Wigan's Worthy Cup 3rd Round win over Man City last season, it was revenge and my mates a city fan, As a club the most important game would be this seasons match against west brom which showed that we had arrived in division 1 and that we were serious challengers

UCL Final two seasons ago.

Madrid - Bayer

If only Zizou hadn't shot, and if only Ze Roberto had played.

If only...

For my team it was probably winning the US Open Cup in 1999 being the only not-top division team to win it in its history, beating Colorado 2-0.

Fulham........3 games, which show how far we have come in such a short time.......

Febuary 3rd 1996, Torquay United. We lost and swapped places with the bottom team. Ian Brentfoot was sacked after this game and Mickey Adams took over and kept us up.

April 5th 1997 Carlisle United. Rodney Mcaree scroing a screamer, which secured our promotion. (Carlisle were top at the time) Basically signalled our rise out of Div 3 and debt.

Then of course, Blackburn Away Div 1.. Sean Davis scoring in the last minute, so we won 2-1 after being 1-0 down. And what made it sweet was Graeme Sourpuss's comments about how they were the best team in the league, even though we were 11 so points ahead of them. Went mental when Sean Scored!!!! Almost secured our promotion to the Premiership!!:rockman:

For Olimpia the most important match was in july 1979,when they won their first Libertadores against Boca Juniors.
In the first game Olimpia won 2-0 and then they had to play against Boca in La bombonera and all the people predicted that Boca will win by far,but Olimpia hanged on and tied the game at 0-0.

I like 2 teams.
Milan.... I think the game where we won the first European title in the 90s was the most important.
As for my 2nd fav team, Panathinaikos the European final Against Ajax in 1971. Altho we lost, it was the most important game in the teams history.

Aston Villa: 1981/1982 European Cup Final, Villa 1:0 FC Bayern (Peter Withe: You will be remembered forever!)

Benfica: 1961/1962 European Cup Final, SLB 5:3 Real Madrid (They had Santamaría, Di Stefano, Puskas, and Gento; We had Eusébio, Coluna, and Simoes. Guess who won?)

New England Revolution: 2002 MLS Cup Final, Galaxy 1:0 Revs (Everything followed the script, until Carlos Ruiz drove the dagger through our hearts in extratime.)

An easy one for me.

The 1967 European Cup Final!

I can't agree that Chelsea's most important game ever was the Liverpool match last season as it's yet to be proved whether the Russian's money is a good thing or not. For them I would say the Cup winners Cup final a few years back was mega important.
