hey guys, i just saw it at WALMART today. 40 bucks and now i'm saving up. but i have a few more questions.

is there training mode on PC?
is there 1 touch like in 03?
are you guys sure i can select my national team players?

dang it, i forgot my last one. sorry, i might post again. : ) any answers i'd appreciate!

yea there is training mode , there is 1st touch just like 2004, only thing they removed was off the ball control. And yes u can selecet ur own nationaal team, but there isnt any Cups you can do with National teams so only matters if you like playing friendlys.

i got fifa 06 and thought it was great then i got the latest pes and i was like fifa is medicre (even though i already knew that before playing it) because it isn't better than WE8. then i uninstalled it from my comp. good thing i didn't pay for fifa. i won't be playing it for a while. i mean it's a fun game for short term purposes (for a couple of months) but if u want something for the long run fun get pes5.

everyones subject to their own opinion and since i had i never liked the PES system, Fifa 06 is good for the long run, the system has its flaws and in the case of playing with national teams you can create a tournament and do that, and its in depth. I havent tried out training mode (as I speak I hope to practice the free kick system if i can finish my work :boohoo: ) but from what i have played so far its a fun game...

having had the game a few weeks. I have already reached World class, never found any of the difficulties challenging and the game way too easy. They have cool features like staff upgrades but tbh they dont really make much of a difference. Transfers are pretty boring too. I would get PES5.
