Crucially, developers EA Canada have spruced up the ball physics and after playing the game at EA's UK press event yesterday, we can attest to the massively improved feel when dribbling and, most importantly, passing, although at this stage vaporous defences are still in place.
As ever, though, it's the license that will sell the game this Christmas with over 175 licensed 'entities' - including 16 leagues, 450 teams and 10,000 professional players. You'll probably find Exeter City's much maligned 1974 under-11s secon team in there somewhere. Confirmation of this and more details soon...
