Not that long ago, they destroyed lebanon for no reason.
They asked the lebanese government to get rid of hezbollah or they would start attacking. this was just an excuse , it wasnt a real demand.
The Israeli knew better than anyone that Hezbollah was much more powerful than Lebanese army within Lebanon, therefore it cannot resist against it's force.
So when the deadline has expired, they have attacked the most beatiful cities of lebanon, and gained nothing at the end.
