I read my emphasis on the ONE and figured you'd bring that up.

I think there will also be natural competing ideologies but what is the purpose of all these ideologies? To find one true way of life that works for everyone. A perfect world view that fits for everyone. Right? That's the way I see it.

If it is a system that allows the citizens to speak and make the decisions themselves (in this case world citizens) I don't see how you can even remotely call that a "dictatorship."

Because what is right and best for your people might not be as perfect for other people around the world. Thats why i gave Iraqi example to support this.
Democracy could be a perfect way of ruling a nation, but you have to look closer to that nations civics and then decide if it will work for those people or not.
People are just different. Thats the way it is.
There will always be different ideologies, both in religion and politics.
I think we shouldnt be concerned about different voices around the world.

I also felt like adding some info about Turkey :D
If i am not mistaken we are the only muslim country with a modern Democracy.

But when the different voices are calling for the deaths of those simply doing what they want we have a problem. And in all honesty, I will die for that right. It sounds symbolic or whatever, but it means that much to me that people are allowed to do what they want (without harming others) without fear of repercussions.

I'm not saying we go force it on people either. I obviously don't agree with the Iraq War. But when you have a society that is raising people that believe murdering people for speaking their mind, or for premarital sex or whatever, basically for being themselves--then they need to be shown that no, that is not the way we as modern humans act. In a free world, which, give or take we have in the western world we're allowed freedom: we can observe religion if we choose, we can choose to not have pre-marital sex or drink or we can choose to do so as well. That's how it needs to be. That's respect for humanity in a nutshell.

You are talking about the Modernization theory, and i support that %100.
But if you think its Muslims that keeps spreading violence you are wrong.
Lets take suicide bombers for example. Its totally pointless to end your life that way, however these people do it, why?
Because of desperation my friend. If they had your guns and your weapons, they wouldnt need to explode their body, and maybe then it wouldnt look as much "barbaric"

The violence thats been imposed by United States is exactly the same.
Look at all those people you call enemy.
Middle-East. What does it have? Oil.
Venezuela. What does it have? Oil.
Coincidence? For an American capitalist might be, but for a humanist liberal such as myself, i hardly think it was a coincidence..

So, its not really about spreading democracy and respecting women rights my friend. Its about what i said in my first msg.
Its the giant cooperations that does the real harm, its them that lights the first fire without anyone of us ever suspecting.

But you wouldnt know..
How would you?
The TV networks are also part of the "strategy".
They tell you what the chairman of X coorperation wants you to here it.

"They" make you believe like you are facing a real threat.
But its all illusion. Everything that has happened to United States was sponsored by United States. Good or Bad.
For example, where do you think Taliban in Afganistan got all their weapons and technology?
They got it from CIA during their war of independence against U.S.S.R
Do you still remember what i have said 2 lines above ;)

I'm not speaking on behalf of my country or my countries leaders actions. You seemingly keep thinking that. To me, personally, it is a spread of ideology of life and equality and freedom to live life...

There is nothing you've said so far that is "news" to me. You act like we're all under some veil of American media and government. Most of us aren't...

Pretty much. And I'll give the American universities some credit too.

However, I still think some of your ideas are rather paranoid.

Possibly.
Im human just like yourself after all.

ps-by writing "you", i actually meant your people, your community etc..

Joe,
i just got online and read your response in the armenian genocide topic.
there are many things to say about it still, but this is not the topic for it, maybe we'll continue to talk about it in the future.

The thing i dont get is that you and I have shared opinions and viewpoints in two different topics without any bad words , infact i was happy to exchange opinions in this forum with somebody sensible for once, but i guess i was wrong..
Why would you finish your msg by declaring i m an idiot?
Was it to prove to your friends you are cool , just like them?
Well buddy, you dont need to show off to anybody, i think you deserve more than just being an ordinary american redneck.

I dont know , I dont care.

You guys miss the point, take me for example.
I dunno much about my religion, i dont know any prayers, i always ate, got drunk and got high when it was ramadan.
To conclude, if those rules really exists, i will go to hell with the "infidels" ;)

But i do defend them when i see injustice, its not about being from a certain group, its about standing up for what you believe is right or wrong.

ps- rarely i eat infected mushrooms too.

Although so called Lars Vilkelkn is right when he says 'if people don't like me cartoons then dun look at them' he is a jerkoff and embarrassment to Danes.

He's just provoking a situation, obviously some people feel more strongly about some things than others. If someone said one of my sports teams suck (which they regularly do, specially with Chelsea) then I dun give a **** about their opinion, I just get on. Same with moslems, some of them disagree and they say you're a git and move on but then there are extremists who go on tv like that lady and say that stuff. That lady is only a small part of moslems. My moslem friends are pretty cool about that stuff, and they're more virtuous than me, I wanna be good like them.

Anyways, all of that's what the point's not, the point is that Denmark's lost all their tin box biscuit business with Moslem countries and their economy is in a crisis.

haha are you kidding me, Denmark has one of the highest standards of living in the world, and has for decades. I think they'll be just fine if their cookies don't sell in Pakistan..

I cannot tell a lie this is one of the most brilliant retorts I have ever seen.

Anyway CapaJr, I would dearly love to hear your argument for why I should become Islamic. Who knows? - you may convince me...

I was once like you Sir_Didier_Drogba. The discipline required in Islam is much more than that required for an apathetic Christian, or an agnostic, or atheist. What's the point in converting to a religion if you're just going to do the same crap and disobey all of the new religion's laws? Might as well just keep being a terrible Christian.

Haha, I'm not actually considering a conversion, I just wanted to hear CapaJr make the case :p

Though I must reiterate that the mosque is one of my very favourite places to hang out and I very much enjoy talking to the worshippers there and find there world view quite fascinating. However, I have far too high an opinion of myself to be prepared to bring a god into the equation.

I am not a very good muslim and probably burn in hell because if my sins, so i am not in a position of giving you a lecture about Islam.

BUT
if i had to give you a example;

Muslims are like that "good kid" in the teenager movies.
And jews and some of christians are that other person that comes and bullies him/her all the time.
Be the good guy..
Be muslim.
