Update from Canada

I am writing this from Vancouver, the tour is going great, tommorrow we are going to play Fifa 2003. Matt Holme has been able to play the game and it can be described as "nothing like Fifa 2002".

The trip up to now has been spent meeting with different EA reps and getting ready for the studio visit tommorrow. Tommorrow expect a large update with pictures from the studio and the total low-down on the game.

Till Later,
Robert

Hmmm... So far we have to do it with the line "nothing like Fifa 2002" . I guess that's good news, since some of you thought it looked like 'the same old fifa crap".

this is looking very promising, there was a short article here.

also there is a good thread here at soccered

as we all know the EA - SG chat is approaching soon ... i know this is going to be a very busy time on SG and i'm ask people to be very patient and understanding if u cant get a question in or something like that :).

No doubt matt's gonna inform us well on the game, new is that he's already played it, as has been mentioned.

On a personal note matt, i wont be able to make the EA-SG chat, if u could find a tad out on that email i sent u, and ignore the second one, i was acting rash.

cheers all

Paul

Those aren't great new to me, since the guy who said that has "nothing like Fifa 2002" is Matt... and it's obvious that he is not going to say that is ugly or like FIFA 2002...
I'll belive it when I play the demo.

See ya!

Maybe I've expressed in wrong way...
I wanted to say that, with the emotion of being at EA and all that even I would say that...
it's different playing it at EA or playing it at your home...
The emotions on EA run very fast... you're blind, because it's a great moment, so I can imagine it....

I hope that FIFA 2003 would be as great as WC 2002 in gameplay, and excellent in graphics (like in the screenshots)...that'd be enough to me.

F U C K, my English is terrible today, I can't coordinate, hehe..

i agree with you fede we don´t get mutch from one person olny i mean lets face it this is a review made by one person that Ea trusts
"nothing like Fifa 2002" well let me see fifa 2000 was nothing like 2001, fifa2000 was nothing like fifa99. that dosen´t mean they are good

so don´t get all exited just wait for the demo and don´t trust reviews especial at this moment that reviewsmen are chosen by EA
think about that

Nahhh I won't believe any of the game reviews from Matt. Ofcourse he will say stuff like 'the game is awsome', 'Nothing like FIFA 2002' ...... . If I were him I would say the same things. Just ignore the reviews IMO but if they provide screens or movies enjoy those.

Thats All!

I remember Matt saying that fifa 2002 was a great game, and well.. I thought it sucked..so, let me see some movies and let me play the demo, and I'll decide for myself, of course I will read anything that anyone says, just for information.
