More Exciting?

The Champions League.

I'm not into international football that much. I'd rather watch a league match than two strong NTs. Club football is simply much more exciting and is definitely at a higher level, due to the fact that club team mates spend much more time together than national team mates, and this makes club football more entertaining to watch. It's just better football.

Not to mention the CL being the best, IMO, competition there is.

I disagree.

It ruins the transfer market, not club football. Chelsea haven't won the CL so Abramovič didn't ruin club football. The EPL is a different story, but that's someone else's business, as I don't care about that league.
We're talking about the CL here, and your point can't stand because the Russian's team didn't win it yet. And btw, if Chelsea do win it, it won't mean that club football is ruined. It just gains on quality, IMO. The fact that they bought your player is your problem, and FC Bayern's. Learn to keep your players around.

World Cup beucase it only comes around every four years plus the Champions League group stage can be quite boring, imo. The CL doesn't hot up until the knock-outs begin.

How can anybody say Champions league, I hope everyone is taking the piss. LOL i think i counted down from about 300 days for the world cup, I am excited about Chelsea's progress in this years CL but not buzzing about it. The World Cup is just soemthing else, best sporting event in the world hands down.

World Cup easily. Because it's only once every 4 year, which makes it special while the CL is every year and because it's the ultimate tournament for everyone(country, fans and player). Because players from all over the country, from all sorts of clubs(some are even arch rivals from each other), have to form a team together in order to play a good tournament. Because unknown players from unknown country's can show off their skills. And there are a dozen more reasons why WC >>>>>>> every other competition.

During the world cup, the total number of so-called football fans who pick some international team to support suddenly increase and those "fans during the world cup only" act like they knows what they're talking about. It's very annoying.
Most people who watch the whole CL (not just the semis and the final) are real fans that followed their team during the qualifier, group and playoff stage.

Nah, I didn't mean it out of the perspective of a Bayern fan. I think it goes too far when a player fakes an injury right before kickoff so that he's eligible to play for his new club. This just recently happened with Boulahrouz btw. Or players kissing their club's badges although they know they'd leave a few months later or even force a transfer.
Contracts don't mean **** anymore, there's no loyaltly left.

The world cup was absolute crap this year. boring as hell. The Copa LIbertadores final was a THRILLER compared to that garbage at the world cup. The south american final was also more entertaining than any matches I saw last year in the CL finals. But I would choose CL over WC any day.

I would give aboslutely everything I have to see Heart of Mdilothian in the CL Group stages.

I doubt I'd care too much if Scotland made the World Cup. I mean, I'd support them and all, but the passion and intensity just would not be there.
