This is the greatest match in Lokomotiv's history we have to win! Loko have to win, it will be so great since teams like Man U and Juve got eliminated this raises our chances of even going to the semifinals!

If Loko does go through, where they have a chance a very good one, they still will not make it to the semi-finals. At least i can say one good thing. They don't embarasse Russia, like Spartak Moscow does.

there was a time when spartak moscow didn't embarass russia either. they're coming back. I hope in two-three years they'll be back alive and kicking in European championships.

Well who else can loko play in quarter-finals (if they make it, fingers crossed)? Lyon? Chelsea? Porto? Deportivo? None of those sound scary. True, Porto just beat Man U, but didn't loko also kick some butt in its group with Arsenal, Inter, and D. Kiev?

So I think if loko makes it so quarter-finals (fingers crossed, again), they got a good chance of going into semis also.

I always support Russian teams, but CL semi-final? Moscow streets would be filled like they just won the WC. That's for sure. Lokomotiv players have not played for like 2 month, so they lack match fitness. However they did buy 5 new players. If they get to the semis, i will be very happy and proud for them, since Belarus and Russia are in a Union, some kind of it.









But you have to admit. Spartak are getting worse every year. Look at their league position last season? Now they lost Titov and i think instead of going up, they go down. It's Loko who goes up now.

have you seen their latest 2 matches against CSKA Moscow? they didn't do that bad. they're in the process of remaking the team, with Skala firing half of the players that were key to the team before. Considering how well they played with a basically half-reserve team, Skala is a genius. Once they finally get some good players in that Skala likes, Spartak will be back on top. That's why I said a few years. It would be a different Spartak, but it will still be a good team, imho.

CSKA is showing some great progress. Although i really hate em, since they're like Russian Real Madrid-Wannabies, I must admit that they're very good and hopefully they'll do well in the next CL.

So basically, im hoping that in like 10 years, there'll be at least 2 russian clubs in the CL that will make it to 1/8 finals =p

and hey, just becuz they're russian doesn't mean they dont have the chance of making it to the semis.. and if in semis they get arsenal, hell, they might even have the chance of getting further than that. but man, that's just me dreaming. lets hope for a good result for tomorrow for now

Monaco is my bet but seeing Loko go thru dosent bother me at all! Good luck to both of the teams! i hope that 1 of them does well later in the comp!!

Lokomotiv will give it their all, I don't think Monaco have enough to break the Russia spirit. When Russians really want something they will get it, so it all depends on how much do Loko want this.

If players like Loskov, Khohlov, Sennikov, Evseev, Izmailov, Maminov, Ashvetia give it their best I am assured of a win.

3-1 for Monaco. Morientes*2 and Adebayor. I don't think that Loko can win in Monaco, there's no teams who beat them at Louis II.
