Moderators Please Read - URGENT...

Hello,

I have joined this forum as a place to learn more about Fifa 2004.

All I have experienced reading almost ANY of the posts is that there are quite a few people who swear, are unproductive, complain and generally abuse others...

I do not understand why you do not ban them or repremand them about their behaviour...?

I know for a fact that some of the people who visit these posts are young teenagers and I do not believe the language and inferences made here are appropriate.

Please help us clean up this forum for ALL to enjoy. I know you can and want to help. Otherwise I will formally complain to someone who will take action... Children need not experience this sort of behaviour...

I'm with you . I'm also in my forties.
I'm here since 2002 and this forum is becoming garbage with all this people insulting each others, cursing and being totally unproductive. ( not only teenies I would say )
Matt, mods ,PLEASE clean this up,use red cards !!!!
I go to other forums and it's not the same.
Having different opinions is very healthy but we MUST respect each others
Otherwise it will be the end of Soccergaming ( or maybe it's the goal of certain guys here )

You are right about the issues we are experiencing, however you're wrong if you think no actions are taken. Just look around how many people we book or ban every day.

Also, children under 13 are here only under parental consent so there are no children on this forum unless their parents have agreed to it. I don't know whether you have kids or not, but me being a teen I can assure you that we hear or use such terrible words as 'dumbass 'or 'dick' on daily basis. I don't think that reading profane words on an internet forum is particularly terrible for us anyway.

People are free to express their opinions, and if that includes bad words- there's nothing we can do about it. However, excessive swearing will be reprimanded. Words such as f*** or s*** are censored. Complaining and moaning about the game- well, they have the right to do that too, and unless they spam every thread with repetitive comments we won’t take actions against it.

Personal insults and ‘flaming’ other members is not tolerated. People acting in such manner are breaking the forum rules, and are warned or banned.

I’m sorry if I sound defensive. Users like you are very welcome, enjoy your stay.

It's worth pointing out that all the flaming and insults are pretty much isolated to the FIFA forums. And that's because FIFA 2004 is the biggest pile of poo ever to be put upon the football gaming public. The reaction is undoubtedly going to be a violent one, so i really don't know what you expect. This is the internet, not the floor of the United Nations. Check out the PES forums - very calm and everyone chatting nicely about how great the game is. That's what happens when you have a DECENT game. When you have idiots going on about how great a game is when it blatantly isn't then you get fireworks.

It´s obvious that you don´t like FIFA 2004 but love PES.

Appleteaser is a perfect example of the problems the board is experiencing. A guy who is obviously into PES, coming into the FIFA 2004 boards and ripping the game. He probably doesn't even have the game, yet knows it is a "pile of poo." Just stay off the FIFA boards so those of us who haven't played the game can make our own comments when we get it.

I don't care about PES, and if I did, I would go to your boards and talk about it.

as Kader said, we encourage everybody use the 'Report this Post to a Moderator' function, and DO NOT insult back to the offender poster.
We mods receive all the reports sent, and ALWAYS take action one way or another.
