I noticed they call a lot of fouls in the MLS.

It would be sweet if they made it a tough league, like where they allowed it to be more physical, atleast like the Premiership. It would give the MLS a cooler identity and please the American fans (they might start respecting the sport and feel proud of their league. The downside would be less classy players would want to join the league.

That's what the USL does (in part because the refs are crap, Navarro is their Mike Riley) and it's not easy to watch. Every breakaway they hack each other down.

So Guevara is good?

In Ny he wos the most beloved one till the MNetros changed to Red Bulls. He was made clear that his career in NY was done so even though he had 1 year left he started b!tching. In a game against Bayern Munchen during the summer the fans were calling him every nasty name out there. I felt bad for the guy.

Overall he is a natural atacking midfielder and scores a lot, too bad he is leaving the MLS. He could have helped TFC quite a lot. :nape:

Yes that he is. But if he is motivated he is secod to no one in this league as far as scoring goes.
Changing club and goinging to a new team apparently is not one of those things that motivate him unfortunately.

Well, didn't he and Mo Johnson already have problems at NY?

I think this was done by Mo on purpose to dump Naga, knowing that Guevara wouldn't want to play for him.

Mo is a perenial looser. NY embraced him and he kept telling the fans how we were improving, when in fact the team kept loosing. The managment started getting tired of his loosing attitude and eventually dumped him. He also had issues with Djorkaeff and Mcgee. And since he was very 'media' friendly he blamed everything to the players.

I have a feeling he is bringing that same poison to Toronto. He brought in players that he likes because they do exactly what he requires, players such as Buddle who is a wortheless piece of trash.

because I'm Portuguese, traditionally we like to call for the managers head after only a couple loses.. a few more bad TFC performances and I may start sending him threatening letters myself. (H)

Since you gys signed him i was almost sure he would screw your chances. He is not a good coach even if he had great players let alone an expantion team.

I remember hearing Mo say that the other MLS teams thought that Toronto wouldn't win any games. I thought to myself that's just messed up because the team looked pretty decent. But now I know it's probably because Mo is the coach of the team. I want this "Wayne Gretzky" of Scotland gone.

Who on Earth called him that?

He was called that when he was introduced to the Canadian media. I think it was the MLSE management that called him that.

I'm sure that the team will win one of the games vs Chicago or Houston. Give them a little time, because it's a team which plays only for a few months together. It was a good start against the Wizards, but a little luck was missing for the shots on goal.
I don't like that scotsman, too. But be patient... :boohoo:
