Red Card [Being a douche] exp. 22/1/06
Not only that but when the MSL team won a free kick he kept saying how that would be soccer heaven for Becks.

The Beckham mentioning was so annoying that it gave me the impression that cvnt Wynalda didn't even know the playerd on the pitch and was trying to keep pace with the game.

It was pretty much impossible to listen to that broadcast. They need to stop sucking his balls already.

Yeah... but I don't think it's going to happen any time soon.

Tongue baths for David all around :kader:

The Man From Ohio
Since 1999, MLS teams in Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto and Columbus, Ohio, have moved into new medium-sized facilities. The New York and Salt Lake City clubs have also broken ground on new facilities.

Why do they always have to put "Ohio" in there? What other Columbus (that matters) is there? :(

Also, I went to Crew Stadium tonight with my dad. Only problem was, the game is tomorrow. I'm an idiot.

This is a bit like Football Manager

"Your physio has reported that David Beckham has sustained an ankle injury in a match over a month ago. With an injection he will get through the friendly against Chelsea and miss 6 weeks. Treating him at the club would see him miss 2-4 weeks.

[Give Injection] [Leave to physio]"

Senior Squad
Is it just me, or is Beckham's debut just like the time when Geraldo Rivera opened Al Capone's vault and found Carlos sh*t inside?

Watch out for the Red Patch Boys tomorrow night, they should do a good job of making some noise at the stadium... we should have about 80-100 there (a small group for a road trip, but it was kind of last minute, and driving back from Columbus on a Sunday night sucks for working on Monday AM)

Honestly if they said Columbus nobody would know, unless they add the Ohio part which then everybody is like oh yea the corrupt O$U is located there.

Boca Juniors USA?

http://www.ole.com.ar/diario/2007/07/22/tapapapel.html

For those who don't understand spanish: Basically Boca is trying to get one of the 3 franchises available in the MLS, apparently Boca made some market investigation and found that it was viable, so there are talks between Boca's directives and different investors from the US. It would be located in either, Miami, Arizona(Phoenix), Los Angeles or New York(Which sounds more likely in my opinion). Apparently Boca giving out the rights for the name wouldn't have to pay anything for the franchise and CABJ would get 10-20% of this new team's profit. If this turns out to happen Schelotto would be the poster boy of this new team.

In those things they point out that it'll more likely happen. The matter is for a while Boca has been complaining that the reserve teams matches aren't enough, more than once they are suspended just because or at times they aren't even started and when that happens they are never played. Boca wanted a "B" side in Chile but the chileans don't want to know anything about such so they found that the system of the MLS suits perfectly, it would be a team for some of their reserves and youth players. In 2005 some months after Chivas USA started to play there were talks that both Boca and River were looking if to have a Boca Juniors USA and/or a River Plate USA was somehow viable. So if this happens i wouldn't be surprised to hear about a River Plate USA next, where is Boca there must be River too.:p

Now for the comic mischief, this will be good because it means these kids will have their matches broadcasted before they go on loan to a 2nd division club of Ecuador or Israel and 1 year after they will be free agents.:funny:

Uhh no thanks. I hope this doesn't happen. Chivas USA was hard enough to swallow but adding more of these 'USA' teams would just make the league lose any credibility that it has.

River keep trying to start a team in Ponce, Puerto Rico which would play in USL-1. They actually have River Plate Puerto Rico in the Puerto Rican Premier now.

I just hope Veracruz don't make a team in the US. Dodgy bastards.

FINAL: MoM: Cuauhtemoc Blanco

Is that a joke or did I miss something here?

Blanco didn't do anything special all game, half the time he was sitting on the ground bitching at the ref. I lost count of how many times he lost possesion of the ball.

that was the worst I've ever seen Toronto play, I know there were key players out but still. Our defence was pretty much non-existant
