as a fan of the Columbus Crew, any DC United loss is a good one, and tonight was no exception. Dallas Burn 4, DC 3 in extratime

DC United - Dallas, what a game... seven goals, one team's playoff hopes on the line, fast-paced soccer, some great individual and team efforts. Could be the best MLS game televised on ESPN2 for the season.

btw, I also support the Crew but I was rooting for DC because I hate Dallas even more.

like i was saying great game... i swear i thought United was gone in regular pplay and what a come back!! ... but what was the keeper thinking in extra time going out of his line.. i don't think there was a need... anyway the 2nd Burn goal ,even if it was a fluke..was awsome!!...

well what a great MLS weekend we have ahead..oh yeah San Jose... we will win saturday!!!...

Sorry chaps, but the MLS is just a snorefest and the stadiums they play in are a joke. I do hope the league improves because American football has a good future.

i know it isn't the best league in the world, but did you even watch the game? it was the first mls game i've ever watched a whole half of on TV. Too bad DC's out for the season

Yes, i've seen several MLS games. The only thing I like is the imagination of some of the players. Seriously, The MLS has a good future, but it is boring football as of now. Swedish league( Allsvenskan ) is definately much better than the MLS.

No it is not. In fact, it's very exciting football now that the race for the playoffs is coming to an end. There is a lot more intrigue than in a regular league without playoffs. As for the quality of football, it has improved over the years and is now pretty good. Nowhere near as good as EPL or La Liga but a solid league.

I agree that it has improved alot, but IMO it is not exciting.

The basis that everyone not familiar with the MLS uses to talk down about the league: it's in America.

I believe the Swedish league is not as good as the MLS because some of the best American players play in the MLS, you can't say the same about Sweden. Their top players play in other leagues. The MLS has many players from countries around the world, Sweden not so much.

I am not a huge fan of the MLS, but i'm smart enough to at least respect it when compared to the Swedish league.

That's OK DjurgårdensIF. At least you said that you hope the league gets better. Some people on this board would just post a reply like "MLS is ****, it's terrible football, I've never seen it but it sucks ass because it's American" and those are the people who really piss me off. We'll just have to disagree on how good/bad the MLS is.
