So, how worthless was that pre-game "word" from David Beckham? I mean it's bad enough that they had to bring him into this at all, but then they hype it like he's gonna say something worthwhile, and all he says is "Hello, I'm David Beckham and you're watching the MLS."

On another note, lose the "the" before MLS. It's not a noun. They don't say "the" MLB. The league's name is an adjective, not a noun like the NFL or NHL.
